The room and bathroom was clean and just perfect. The food was very tasty and the views were stunning. Would definitely recommend!!!!

I rented an e-bike for the three days I was there and it was no problem to keep it secure and to charge it. The food at the associated restaurant was excellent. I hurt my knee while there and they were very accommodating and supplied an ice pack to eliminate the swelling and keep me hiking and biking. My stay could not have been more enjoyable.

Our apartment was a lovely two-story place, with the bathroom and kitchen/living area downstairs and the bedroom upstairs. While the rooms aren’t huge, they are thoughtfully designed, very cozy, and felt pleasantly bright.
The Wi-Fi worked well, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed — from utensils and cutlery to a kettle, electric cooker, and even a dishwasher. Cooking and dining in was easy and convenient.
The chalets are beautifully set right on the riverbank, with benches offering views of the water and tables available for barbecues.
Communication with the host was easy and welcoming. We also really appreciated the thoughtful little touches: custom-branded warm slippers, high-quality bathroom soap and shampoo (L’Occitane), useful guides to the surrounding area, a soft wool wrap, and comfortable, pleasant-to-the-touch bed linen.

We absolutely loved our staying at Pension Cerkovnik!
The place is dog friendly and the little one could come with us everywhere. Our host was lovely, easy to reach in case of any questions. At night it was wonderful to fall asleep listening the chirping of the crickets and the babbling of the stream. There is a restaurant at the property. The breakfast was pleasant with various options. We do not usually drink coffee in the morning but the 'white coffee' was that tasty that we could not skip any morning without drinking a mug of it. The location is excellent: 10 minutes walk from the main street of the Bohinj lake with a stunning view to the mountains, right on the bank of a stream, small river. You can easily reach the hiking trails to the mountains.
We are planning to come back soon.

We booked this hotel for two nights to visit Bohinj and to celebrate New Year's Eve, and it was a great choice! We had a very nice and pleasant stay, the staff was very kind and friendly and they answered all our questions. The rooms are great looking, very clean and well equipped. We had breakfast included, and it was exceptional, and also the restaurant is superb, so we ended up having lunch there every day. The location turned out to be great as well, since the main party for New Year's Eve was right across the hotel (where the aquapark is), so we didn't have to use the car. The hotel also has nice private parking. All in all, this is a great small hotel with great restaurant and location and we will definitely be staying here again when we return to Bohinj, which we loved so much.

Amazing location, nestled in Julian Alps, you can't really ask for gorgeous mountain location. A major plus is also that public transport is available from Ljubljana to the location.
The breakfast... Stunning. All local ingredients, exceptional quality, taste and presentation. 10 minutes away from entering the Vogel ski resort, lake nearby for canoeing in summer, biking.
The room was perfect, a gorgeous balcony overlooking the valley. Very big shower, exceptionally clean and taken care of.
Wonderful host, got some local shots upon arrival, freshly made scrambled eggs for breakfast, not that powder bs.
Would highly recommend for a romantic getaway, hiking holiday and even a family trip as there is something for everyone.

I loved my stay at Penzion Rožič. Janja was amazing - so hospitable with a wonderful sense of humor. The lodging is comfortable and clean, and the location is perfect for access to the lake and sights and outdoor activities nearby. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious - highly recommend the goulash. The morning breakfast buffet had a variety of options - my favorites being the homemade appleasauce and plum jam. Highly recommend spending a few nights at Penzion Rožič. .

We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake...
We stayed in Bled for a couple of days before moving to Lake Bohinj, on reflection, we preferred Lake Bohinj to Bled, it was less busy, quieter, and if we wanted was in each reach of Bled for a visit. If we went back again we would stay in Bohinj as a base and move around from there.

The breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of food and a great variety. The food was really delicious. We truly enjoyed the accommodation, and the hotel owner was lovely, helping us with every question and everything we needed. We got caught in the snow in the mountains, and the hotel owner drove us in his own car – it was so kind and definitely not something to be taken for granted. I highly recommend this place ☺️

The town of Bohinjska Bistrica didn't impress us but the Bohinj lake a few kilometers away is the main attraction anyway and it is beautiful. There is a nice cyclepath from Bohinjska Bistrica to the lake with a few steep parts and soon the whole cyclepath from lake Bled to Bohinj will be completed. There are also some other routes around Bohinjska Bistrica but the area might be a bit constricted for serious cyclists. In July and August there is too much traffic for serious road cycling if you don't like a lot of traffic but we were told that from September it is much more quiet.

Good location - just the middle between Bohinj and Bled lakes. Quiet area but in the morning we heard some cars from distant route and also train once per day. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We got free pack of local eggs on arrive.
We were living in upper floor. The accommodation had everything we need for nice stay. The beds are a bit hard and noisy. Also I would add nets on the windows because there is no AC and opening window at night time might cause problems with mosquitos.

For those who love nature, quietness, hiking, water activities, nature wonders, local traditions, kind people, nice beaches, swimming, and on top would like to experiment flying like birds (paragliding) ! Do not hesitate, come visit Bohinj. And plan to stay long to enjoy all what it offers.
