Ko Larn is an island off the coast from Pattaya, Thailand.
Ko Larn is an island off the coast from Pattaya, Thailand. It is less developed with no global hotel chains, but a lot of the locally owned hotels and villas are comfortable and affordable. The beaches are very good and range from secluded to vibrant and bustling. Lots of choices for water sports, fishing, diving, and shopping. The local residents are generally friendly and helpful to tourists, but standard safety precautions are also important to ensure an incident-free visit. The best part of Ko Larn is the fresh seafood. Beautiful beaches, prices all over the island good, except extreme expensive Hotels. Food fresh and good and affordable. Streets dangerous, but built very well, easy to drive, but of course must be cautious because of extreme mountainous nature. Piers good and sufficient taxis to bring you around. So close to mainland town Puckett, and easy to get to by ferry or fast boat. Boats leave from end of pier at Bali Hai. Ko Larn, also spelled Lan, has so many places to explore, and restaurants and coffee shops, and beaches. And the low cost is amazing. People so nice there too.Guest review byMathiasUnited States
