The villa’s are nice. All villa are facing the amazing sea and Nang Yuan Island. The views from our villa was breathtaking and the swimming awesome and very safe. It was so romantic when you stay at night. Beds are comfy. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel that they are in true paradise, and who has some sense of adventure. The staff were lovely and we extended our stay. The rooms were decent sized and its the simple things such as they're right on the beach and having a simple broom to sweep sand and a foot tap to wash feet makes a difference. Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. We loved Koh Tao.
We loved Koh Tao. Sairee beach is a great area but you can stay anywhere and still have access as it's such a small island. We took a boat trip out to the island for snorkelling which was fab. Don't book in advance. Go onto the beach and haggle with the locals to take you over as it works out so much cheaper especially if you are a family. I enjoyed Koh Tao.
I enjoyed Koh Tao. It is bigger with many more shops and restaurants than I expected. It is clean. The swimming and snorkeling were fabulous. Exploring the cafes and restaurants up high in the mountains is well worth while. People are kind and friendly.Guest review byNevilleAustralia
