Extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful staff, especially Art. The hotel was super clean, close to everything, comfortable beds., very safe area. We particularly loved the coffee, tea and snacks available anytime and the delicious breakfast. The lobby, pool, breakfast area was very relaxing and the perfect place to enjoy a coffee while waiting to be picked up for a tour.

I liked that the room had a window that faced outside - not just an interior facing window that I’d usually just keep the curtains closed on. I also liked that it was a little outside the business of Chiang Mai and a close walk/ride to the bus and train stations!

Spectacular! After three months of traveling, this has been without a doubt one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Everything is spotless, the rooms are modern, and the staff is absolutely the best part of the place. It was my partner’s birthday, and they helped me decorate the room as a surprise and even gave her a thoughtful birthday gift. Thank you Mimi, Muay, Mon, Dear and all the staff for making us feel at home, always with the best recommendations and the kindest attitude. We already have a trip planned for next year, and Asa Hotel will definitely be our choice in Chiang Mai again!

We found Chiang Mai is very clean and clam, it's not loud even in the night market, it's a good place to relax from a busy city life. There are lots of cafe to choose in different area of the city, providing good quality coffee and we bought some beans back too. The living cost here is so low, compare to Bangkok and Phuket, Chiang Mai is much more cheaper but the standard has not much difference. We have good shopping here, souvenirs are better price here, and the good as well, most of the local food are below 100Thb, always good price for a meal. one of the best thing in Chiang Mai is the distance to visit local /traditional villages, famous temples or forest is not far, it's like 1-1.5hrs drive then you will be far from the town, it's great to go 1 day trip to see the green or something different.

We loved the slower pace of Chiang Rai, being smaller meant it was easier to walk to local landmarks. Walking street on Saturday is a must, it is an amazing market that goes for miles. Unfortunately the paving and foot paths are not maintained very well so caution is needed while walking. The clock tower light show every night at 7,8 and 9pm was a disappointment. I was expecting lots of colours and music but no, very overrated. Temple tours are a must.

There really isn't much there to see as a tourist. The city is not pretty or anything special. We were at Sukhothai and decided to travel here to extend our mini vacation. I would not recommend it for a visit. The only highlight for me was the SGT MAJ Folk Museum. This is a must see, if you are ever in the city.

Nan is an interesting town... There are lots of temples and history from when it was a kingdom. I was visiting during the low season, but during my 10-day visit, I could see something every day. But you must realize that this is not a holiday site where you can enjoy daily fun and entertainment.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping in Chiang Mai, and I can confidently say it was one of the most incredible hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the host and staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Every request we made was met with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, which made our stay even more special. The glamping site itself is immaculately maintained, with cleanliness being a top priority. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall 24/7, it truly felt like we were immersed in nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with the serene beauty of the outdoors. One of the most magical moments was at night—around 11 PM onwards, the sky came alive with countless stars, offering an awe-inspiring view you rarely get to experience in the city. If you’re looking for a solid glamping experience with unparalleled hospitality, breathtaking natural surroundings, and starry skies, Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping is the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet enriching escape. Thank you to the entire team for making this a stay to remember!
