- From $557.36 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 596 reviewsThe thing I appreciated the most was how the management handled the situation. On every trip and in every place, unexpected situations or little stories can happen, but what made Silavadee stand out is that they were different. They handled the matter in the best possible way, making sure our trip ended here in the most beautiful way. First of all, the resort itself is beautiful, calm, and charming — the perfect place to enjoy private and special moments. But what truly made it unforgettable was that after a small misunderstanding, the hotel’s management decided to offer us a late check-out and even a complimentary transfer to the airport. Mr. Tristan is truly a treasure for this hotel. A big thank you as well to every member of the wonderful staff — during our two days here, we saw nothing but warm smiles from all of them. And honestly, if you visit Koh Samui and don’t stay at this hotel, then you haven’t really experienced Koh Samui at all.Guest review byLabibJordan
- From $182.66 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,297 reviewsOne of the exceptional resort that i have ever been , very nice rooms, wooden with thai sculptures and very nice baths , all rooms have view , restaurants food was delucious and very good valeu for money , and the people working at this resort are very nice and help you with everything, i did yoga and muay thai classes, which are free by the way, and the 2 guys were very nice. Also the SPA is senzational with lovelly ladies that have a vareity of massages , scrubs and others. Inside the resort is like a jungle exoerience with lots of trees , birds , flowers. In conclusion you won't be dissapointed, go ahead and book.Guest review byMihailRomania

Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in...
Koh Tao is still one of the few raw escapes in Thailand in my opinion, its divers and back packers heaven. However as a father with 2 kids in my forties i absolutely loved it. If you step away from the busy areas and off the beaten track you can find amazing coves and hiden gems still. The tourism all over the world has killed so much of our wildlife and reefs. The locals are definitely trying to do all they can to save it. Brilliant food, amazing views and a fun island.Guest review byDominicUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday
Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday The Jungle Tour is definitely worth doing & don't be afraid to barter the price Lots of eateries with great selection of food to choose from Fishermans Market is very pretty at night & there are bargains to be had If you hire a car or scooter - by careful if you like to dabble in the Green because the Police will pull you over & you will get a hefty fine - not worth it - grab a taxi or the local rides (which are cheap)Guest review byRuth WalkerUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The first two times we visited Koh Samui we stayed in Bophut...
The first two times we visited Koh Samui we stayed in Bophut near Fisherman's Village. After exploring the island a little more, we came to the conclusion that Lamai was the area we preferred, The beaches were better and sandy compared to Bophut which was more of a slush/muddy fell underfoot. Chaweng was a little too much for us, however, Lamai was just right.Guest review byRebeccaAustralia - 6.0
Not the nicest part of island.
Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. Road between Haad Rin and Thong Sala and everywhere else on the East/West of the island is very steep hills to ride by bike.Guest review bySarahUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The park is huge and amazing! So much to do and see.
The park is huge and amazing! So much to do and see. What I didn’t like was the entry sign with the discriminatory fees listed. In English, “ Foreigners 200 baht “, then, written in Thai, “ Thai citizens 40 baht “.Guest review byMarkUnited States - 10.0

Love the coastal areas & the variety of beaches in Mae Nam as well as the differing local food cultures. I especially liked the relaxed beach at Baan Fah Resort where the water was deep enough to swim just a short distance from the shore - a truly great beach. The best coffee house in Samui has to be Hachiya Coffee Roastery. And I highly recommend G- Bike Rentals.Guest review byAlanNew Zealand - 10.0
The Fisherman's Village was fantastic.
The Fisherman's Village was fantastic. No car or scooter access at night made for lovely walks along the street, seeing the markets and bars and restaurants in relative peace. Plus none of the typical sleazy Thai bars/clubs.Guest review byChrisAustralia - 8.0
I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location.
I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.Guest review byMarkAustralia - 4.0
We were planning on 2 nights but changed plans and left...
We were planning on 2 nights but changed plans and left after 1 as there is nothing to do on the town but look at shops. One temple to visit if wanted. Wish we hadn’t stayed the one night! Ok for a transfer through to the islands but nothing more in our opinion. Our taxi took us to the wrong ferry office which was annoying and no one really helped us find the correct one, thankfully we made it in time.Guest review byKimUnited Kingdom - 8.0
