We left Houston because power was out due to Beryl. All the hotels in Houston were all booked. We decided to go to Austin since the 2 hotels we previously tried to book cancelled at the last minute. We have not been to Austin before, we were tired and anxious that the hotel would be full. Also, we tried buying a generator but it was out of stock everywhere. It was our first hurricane experience..So we decided to travel to Austin. We were so happy and relieved that there was room for us and that the people (the staff and the folks in general) were warm, welcoming and friendly! The room was amazing, it was bigger than any of the hotels we've ever been! The wifi was strong and they had blessed AC! They offer free bfast which was very filling, laundry for guests, gym and pool as well. Parking was free and plenty but kinda tight fit. We wont hesitate to go back!

The breakfast was well well and definitely efficient. I ate before my football tournament and was able to be full up to mid-afternoon from the hearty breakfast that was served I would definitely recommend this hotel because the breakfast was amazing

Breakfast and the breakfast staff were excellent. Lina and Anna were great every morning. My check in was excellent as well. I am sorry I forgot the young guys name. All staff at the hotel were excellent! Would stay there again simply for staff.

I've been to Austin many times and stayed in various...

I've been to Austin many times and stayed in various locations close to downtown. Its a fun, youthful outdoorsy city. Easy to walk around or just get car share. Cybercabs & Waymo's abound. Rafting on the river or visit the nearby waterfalls to cool off. Museum and historical sites are interesting ie LBJ Library is great. Great food all over and music as well. (Terry Blacks never disappoints) Rock and plenty of jazz too (Parkers and Elephant Room). We even saw the bats this time !

Spent weekend with daughters and granddaughters in Round Rock, first time here. We all enjoyed the town! In 2 days we visited Chisholm Trail, so very clean, well laid out and worth the visit! Followed by Rockin River perfect size water park!! Altitude trampoline bigger than our towns. Lastly Painting with a Twist in town...we'll be back so fun!!

Buda is a growing little city.

Buda is a growing little city. Has a fun downtown for coffee and restaurants. Nice country people. A great place for a young family to move to as homes are lovely, lots being built and prices are reasonable.

My travel experience in Cedar Park was mostly positive. The area was clean, safe, and easy to navigate, with plenty of dining and shopping options close by. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with minor inconveniences.

Not pet/service dog friendly. My dog had to sleep in car. Left after 4 -5 hours. Left that point. Love the hotel but will not use Comfort brand ever again. Service dog is very important to my independence and mobility.

Pflugerville is a nice place to stay.

Pflugerville is a nice place to stay. Lots of shopping, activities, restaurants, movie theaters, churches....everything you could possibly want or need is right there. From children to adults, there's something for everyone. Even the scenery is nice.

Four Points Holiday Inn is a superior location for Lake Travis/NW side of Austin. One of the cleanest inns we have stayed in with helpful staff and good quality breakfasts. Quiet, yet close to shopping and restaurants. We will be back when we are in Austin.

Lakeway is an older resort that needs updating. The pools were very nice. The restaurant was nice but expensive for what was offered. In general we felt this resort was overpriced for its condition. We were there for a family gathering and Lakeway worked well for this large group. I would not choose to return for just us as a couple.

We really didn't get an opportunity to explore the city of Del Valle, as we were there for a triathlon event. What I can say about the city is it is a little ways out from the city of Austin but close to highway 71 that leads to I-10

Didn't actually spend much time in Hutto proper, except to eat at The Texas Cafe, which was a funky, old-timey kind of diner. Oh, and the golf at Star Ranch was both accessible and enjoyable. Another spot, Taylor (one small town over) did catch our attention: lots of history. A number of heritage buildings and neat older homes in a concentrated area of town made it an interesting spot to explore on foot. Fun to to check out if one likes that kind of things. The Cele Store was another treat: kind of in the back of beyond, but worth the time to find it if one likes bbq served up plain and simple in a locale loaded with character.
