The rooms are a great size! This is important to us as we have two small children. The service was also amazing - everyone was so helpful and friendly, not to mention all the little extras they supplied such as Christmas gifts for the kids and cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. It was a perfect place to stay for our little holiday.

Stunning property! The location feels wonderfully tucked away—off the beaten path yet never inconvenient—because the resort itself offers so much that you’ll never feel isolated. Whether you want relaxation or adventure, everything you need is right on property, and it’s also the perfect home base after exploring the nearby National Parks. During our stay, we golfed, fly fished, kayaked, paddle boarded, biked, strolled the grounds, horse-watched, and lounged by the pool. Every activity was a highlight, and the variety made it easy for the whole family to have fun together. The grounds are immaculate, and you can sense the care that goes into maintaining such a beautiful setting. The hotel itself is gorgeous—thoughtfully designed, luxuriously decorated, and striking in every detail. Our two-bedroom suite was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly suited to a family stay. Everything about the experience felt top-tier, yet with better value compared to similar luxury resorts like the Four Seasons in Jackson Hole. Snake River Sporting Club is truly a hidden gem. We made memories here that will last a lifetime and can’t wait to come back. My advice: visit while you can, before word spreads and prices rise—this place is very special.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with a modern interior. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything I needed, which made it easy to cook and feel right at home. The property also has a hot tub and a heated pool—though the pool wasn’t actually heated during our stay. Luckily, that worked out for us, as we used it as a cold plunge for our sore legs (which was kind of perfect, honestly!). There’s also a gym available, though it was randomly closed at times—even during posted hours, which was a bit confusing. I also appreciated having a fan in the room for extra comfort. But the real highlight was the patio—the view was absolutely spectacular! It was the perfect spot to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend!

Jackson is an expensive town in terms of hotel and other accommodations. If you have a car, I'd recommend staying in a location that is cheaper anywhere from 10-30 miles away from Jackson (easier said than done) since there are fewer accommodations elsewhere.

Too far from the parks, led to believe it was closer.

Too far from the parks, led to believe it was closer. Extremely low toilet. No freezer in the extremely small frig. No cupboards or counter space. Lawn not mowed. Lots of storage of snowmobiles and trucks on the back. Looked trashy. Very high step to get into the cabin with no handrails. Only one hand towel for 2 people.

The pictures on Booking.com do not reflect the property.

The pictures on Booking.com do not reflect the property. Colter Bay Village had a general store and a good restaurant as promised. However, the cabin for $380.00 was only a room with attached small bathroom. The bathroom had a shower with dirty, moldy caulking in the shower and around the bathroom. The cabin had no refrigerator, no television, no wifi, just bed(s) with a stain on our sheets. The pictures on Booking.com were great and they talked a lot about Colter Bay Village but no where did they mention how RUSTIC and lacking the cabin was. I'm extremely disappointed with the cabin and with Booking.com.

We were there first week in October, so we didn’t get the full experience because lots of the anemnities were not available. Some of the staff were friendly, but mostly our encounters with front office staff, horse riders area were rude. Our food servers were amazing, food was good but ridiculous expensive for what we received. The road construction from the village to Jackson was horrible, took 1.5 hours to go 12 miles. Gorgeous time of year to enjoy the miles of walking trails with beautiful views.

Very convient location and the condo was beautiful. Well supplied with everything from zip lock bags to bear spray! It was clean, plenty of towels, and staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and all questions answered. They even shipped back a small purse my daughter accidentally left behind. I can’t say enough! If I am blessed to go back to Jackson Hole, I will stay here again.

Great town for browsing after viewing Grand Teton natl park.

Great town for browsing after viewing Grand Teton natl park. Tee shirt, antique, galleries and boutique shops were abundant. Nice ice cream and dessert shops. Highly advise reservations for dinner esp on weekends. We had a difficult time getting in to decent restaurants. The town is close to Teton Park and airport. We did a great Snake river float. Get to Jenny Lake and Taggert lake parking early to get a spot or you may be parking down the road adding on distance to your hike. Up to 1/2 mile. Wishing that we had got into the National Museum of Wildlife Art but no time left. We drove to Teton Village where shops and restaurants were a bust.

Such a gorgeous place.

Such a gorgeous place. Wide open plains, rivers and views of the Grand Tetons. I felt like I was going back to the days of the wide open West, but with the creature comforts of a car, heated cabin and restaurants. An amazing place to unwind and reconnect with nature. (Plus, I hear in the summer there are lots of outdoor activities - ie river floats, fishing, horseback riding...). So close to the Grand Tetons - and Yellowstone too. Great location.

The Alpenhof is a terrible old creepy place!

The Alpenhof is a terrible old creepy place! Furnishings looked like something my great great grandparents in the 1800's would have had. Not clean, A/C did not get cold, the front desk clerk at check in was nowhere to be found for ten minutes and the one in the morning was sound asleep under her hoodie when my wife went down to find coffee (which when awakened, she told my wife not until 8 AM). No breakfast, no nothing - just an old, creepy, dirty, uncomfortable room with flies and a spider and about three electrical outlets, all full. Stay away from this dive!

Jackson is always a fun place to visit.

Jackson is always a fun place to visit. A place for ultra liberals to ultra conservatives. And it pulls it off seamlessly. Shops with cheap stuff to shops with expensive stuff. Gorgeous scenery in every direction. The food is shockingly affordable for how great it all is, and the best part - unlike snob locations like Park City that won't take cash, you can still pay cash everywhere in Jackson! I visit once a year and always seem to enjoy it! It's better than places like Sun Valley and Park City by a mile!

There is actually really nothing in Moran, other than Headwaters Lodge and Cabins and lots of natural beauty. You have to drive to go anywhere else to eat. We stayed 4 nights in our cabin, we ate dinner all 4 nights at the Lodge because we were to tired to trek anywhere else after hiking and exploring all day. We sat out back near the firepit most evenings at dusk and saw elk in the field below. The view of the Snake River valley is lovely and peaceful.
