Upper lake is a great area to visit year around.
Upper lake is a great area to visit year around. We enjoy the lake, boating and casinos in the winter. Many lodging options and prices. We own a timeshare and visit several times a year. We also stay at other resorts. We recommend you visit Clear Lake and the Upper Lake area.Guest review byJonUnited States - 10.0

I really loved the cottage and it was a great price and an amazing view and it was nice and quiet. They even made sure I had a big enough room for me and my daughter and her playpen and our other things. They are very accommodating ☺️Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 2.0

First time there the owner didn’t allow us to look at the resort until we got down to business as he put it. Room small and smelly, everywhere you walked you walked into a spiderweb, no shaded area on dock to fish, a bees nest filled with wasps and bees that attached us and bait. We tried our best to make the best of it by going to buy our own umbrella but the wasps prevented us from fishing. We weren’t there 24hrs I asked owner for a refund for at least one day and he stated “ Everyone wants a refund coming up with different excuses I don’t give refunds!! It wasn’t a 2 day mandatory stay.Guest review byLatanyaUnited States - 6.0

Not much to review--Tallman Hotel is the highlight of the two block long downtown, with it's next door restaurant, the Blue Wing, being an attractive, tree shaded stop for good lunch. No access to the lake at Upper Lake. We might have stayed a night at the Tallman for it's semi-historic nature--although it's not the original building from the 1880's--but for the lack of any King size bed rooms. Sorry, a double just doesn't cut it. In short, there is nothing here to attract a stay.Guest review byDougUnited States - 10.0

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, even though they were short staffed, they did not let that interfere with taking good care of us. The hotel was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.Guest review bybarbaraUnited States - 8.0
I loved almost everything.
I loved almost everything. No breakfast as advertised due to no gluten free bread. I had 1 piece of toast. They had no more provisions. No microwave. No late check out. Loved the pool, food, music, ambiance, friendly guests, and helpful staff.Guest review byMargaret "Maggie"United States
