The town had some very “western” restaurants, fantastic brisket, and a few reasonable stores. But it was overrun with kitschy t-shirt stores. Kind of low-end. Only a handful of reasonable stores. Nothing in comparison to Jackson Hole where we started our trip.

Bozeman is a great place to spend a little time, worthy of more than a single night. The historic downtown is loaded with incredible restaurants, breweries, and bars as well as great shops. I also highly recommend a trip to the amazing Museum of the Rockies at Montana State University.

Too much Gay Pride and Transgender propaganda.

Too much Gay Pride and Transgender propaganda. Nothing against them but it was really shoved down your throat! Also while we were shopping and eating lunch the city decided to close off a block and towed our car to a random lot (as well as about a dozen other people's cars). Luckily we were able to call around and find it. This was at 4pm. Event the next day wasn't until 11am! Really!! Won't be back!

A great little town with several really good places to eat.

A great little town with several really good places to eat. The only negative is the road up into the Yellowstone park is NOT a fun drive. It is narrow, steep and twisting with poorly banked curves - much of it 15mph. It is temporary after the flood a few years ago but for now, it’s a stressful way to begin and end the day

Staff at the Rocker Inn were very friendly and helpful.

Staff at the Rocker Inn were very friendly and helpful. There was a water contamination issue so places to eat were scarce in Butte. Majority of locals were very helpful with suggestions and approachable. Deer Lodge had an absolutely wonderful diner-K & M Breakfast, Burgers and More that was only a half hour away and the food was amazing!

Went to dinner one nite at restaurant in the casino. Walked across road and around to front. Wonderful meal. Stopped in second hand stores and yard sale which companion enjoys. Sorry but we are both over 70! Not exactly young and it's my aunt I travel with!

We went downtown for lunch on a Tuesday.

We went downtown for lunch on a Tuesday. Most restaurants were closed, others all had wait times of over an hour. We ended up driving to Safeway and making our own food for most of the rest of the trip. I would probably stay in Kalispell or Colombia Falls if we went back.
