Kearney is nice clean and there are several things to see and do there that are very interesting. Pioneer Village down in Minden Nebraska is an outstanding and interesting Museum however it sure needs some funding from somewhere to save all of those spectacular displays. Maybe they need to go fund me page?

We greatly enjoyed seeing Bailey Yard and the Golden Spike Tower!! Oh my-------please read the story of the North Platte Canteen!! You won't be the same!! We also got the chance to go explore North Platte's antique shops and the nearby Nebraska Sandhills. I know we'll be back----North Platte is a fun place to visit!! One thing though---the main highways are different than most towns----do your homework and either check out maps or stop at the North Platte Visitor Center just off I-80 for help!😊 The lady there was SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL IN EXPLAINING the town's highways!!😌😌😌😌

Don't get me wrong, I love the City of Chadron.
Don't get me wrong, I love the City of Chadron. I will stay there again, just in another motel or hotel. The quality of this motel was very poor but Chadron and the surrounding area is fantastic. I recommend Chadron, Nebraska to everyone, just check into other accommodations.

I went for "Threads Across Nebraska" for this trip, but I have family there, also. Because, I am a quilter/sewist, I tend to frequent, fabric shops, etc. There are plenty of, resteraunts, to choose from. I went to the Cellar, the Loaded Blooming Onion.....to die for, pretty good margaritas, too😉 The mall is clean and has plenty of shopping, opportunities.

It is a great little town if you want that small town feel.
It is a great little town if you want that small town feel. Very friendly! Getting around town is easy. It has a nice downtown with interesting shops and tasty eating establishments. If you are interested in architecture, be sure to drive by the Frank Lloyd Wright house on Norris Ave. If you are interested in Nebraska history, check out the Norris home.

Traffic wasn't bad, and the weather was spectacular! Normally, Nebraska in December is a cold, icy mess. The high temps were in the 50s and getting around was easy. There is plenty to do, from concerts and cultural events to shopping and dining on any budget.

My husband and I and friends visited the State Capital and...
My husband and I and friends visited the State Capital and found the experience to be more than we hoped for.Beautiful architecture, mosaics and frescos. The 14th floor is a must see. Walk around the gold tiled dome and see for miles and miles in every direction. Nebraskans should be proud of this gorgeous work of art.

I came the weekend of the Colorado at Nebraska football game and didn't want to stay in Lincoln, so I reserved a room at this nice hotel and - wouldn't you know it - I got the handicapped accessible room, which presented a slight challenge (for me) with the shower, but I couldn't complain. The room was fabulous, comfortable, the TV had Wi-Fi and any (free) channel you can name, and it was oh so QUIET, which I love. A tiny bit high - because of the weekend it was - but I highly recommend it.

They had possibly the best breakfast I've had at a hotel. The staff is very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location. Within walking distance of a strip mall, including a wall mart and liquor stores. Close to a lot of restaurants, specifically a ruby Tuesday directly next to the hotel. If you're in town for a Nebraska game, the high school is a block away and provides shuttle services. Otherwise, it is a short drive to the stadium. We will be staying here again!!

The location is convenient, just off of the Nebraska Parkway with easy access to the Route 2 Warner Expressway to the east and a few miles drive from I-80 in the west. After staying here, I decided to book an AmericInn for our next stop, and was not disappointed. The hotel is close to Walmart, where we purchased some food to eat in the room, and there are some restaurants nearby.

This hotel is well-located near I-80. It is close to gas and food. We were excited to see a Runza (Try it if you go through Nebraska) and a Scooter's Coffee. The hotel itself has an interesting indoor pool in the center of some of the rooms. The room was small, but clean and the staff was nice. Breakfast was included and started at 6:00 AM which was helpful as we needed to leave early.

Room was prepaid but staff would not let my son check in without an additional credit card. So he ended up sleeping in his car. But hotel still charged me for the room.
