- From $376.08 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,640 reviewsThe hotel is very close to the West entrance of Yellowstone NP. Spacious room where there was also a cute wolf teddy waiting for us on the bed. Even though we didn't expect any breakfast, there was a very wide selection available in the morning. Also snack bars and hot chocolate/tea were available throughout the day. Free laundry. Hot tub and pool available indoors. We enjoyed our stay here a lot.Guest review byÉvaHungary

- From $305.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,205 reviewsEverything was great. One way I found of grading a hotel is how are the towels in the bathroom. At SAWTELLE the towels were large , fluffy, just the best of towels, just like everything else there.Guest review byJoel StewartItaly

Great location near the national park. Fun restaurants and bars. Try the Buffalo Bar for great bison burgers! Check out Go Go Expresso on Hwy 20 near the Buffalo Bar. It is a cute drive up coffee shop.Guest review byTerriUnited States - 10.0

Island Park was a great choice to stay for our Yellowstone trip. We ate at The Parlor a couple times, they had very good pizza and ice cream, highly recommend the Huckleberry. The staff there was extremely friendly there too, with very generous servings. The views from the surrounding area was breathtaking.Guest review byAnonymous - 4.0

On a previous visit we thought the ski-ing to be great, however, this time the snow was not as good. Things could be improved by better grooming of the runs and by adding some more lifts. The queues this time were the worst we've seen in USA. The cost of lift tickets is high considering the previous paragraph. The resort itself has not improved since our last visit when we thought it not good. Few restaurants, lots of snack eateries.Guest review byTREVORUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This is a wonderful property with very nice owners and staff. The restaurant on site has great food and a nice bar. The views of the mountains are beautiful and there is plenty of area for walking your dog. The rooms are cabins and very clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this place and will be going back to stay there.Guest review byleftwich3United States - 8.0

Great little town that caters to tourists and has a down-home feel. Plenty of hometown food and options. Truly is 1 minute to the main gates of Yellowstone making it a great place to enter the park. In my opinion it's the best place as you can choose to do the Upper Loop of the park or Lower loop easily. Trip from Bozeman took almost 2 hours as mostly 2 lane highways. Great walkability to the town hot spots from pretty much anywhere and fishing in local rivers appeared to be plentiful.Guest review byLynn LUnited States - 10.0
Beautfiul getaway in the mountains.
Beautfiul getaway in the mountains. It is a mountain dream and a fisherman mecca. The Tetons can be seen in the distance on clear days. If you love water, exploring, ATV's, winter activities, summer activities, or the outdoors at all, you should definitely visit.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 10.0

Big Sky is an fantastic ski area with terrain for all abilities. Views are amazing. We were there on a weekend and did not encounter too much of an issue with lift lines, etc. We found staying right at the base was the reason our experience was so great. We easily walked to lifts and restaurants, etc. Off base would have been frustrating. Shuttle lines were very long and traffic to and from the Resort via car was heavy. Highly recommend the Yurt Dinner experience. Expensive but very unique and lots of fun.Guest review bySallyannUnited States - 6.0
On a very busy road. Cabins need some updating.
On a very busy road. Cabins need some updating. The view from the cabin was the back of one cabin and the back of some rec vehicles. I ate once in the restaurant and it was good - the bar is well stocked. I only used the cabin to sleep in as I traveled around everyday. There isn't anything in Cameron.Guest review bynadineUnited States - 8.0

The town had some very “western” restaurants, fantastic brisket, and a few reasonable stores. But it was overrun with kitschy t-shirt stores. Kind of low-end. Only a handful of reasonable stores. Nothing in comparison to Jackson Hole where we started our trip.Guest review byStevenIsrael - 10.0
This was my first stay in Island Park now that it has grown.
This was my first stay in Island Park now that it has grown. We found our way around and enjoyed the friendliness of the people we interfaced with. The most adventurous thing we did was drive up to Sawtelle Peak. It was a beautiful day. I will share some pictures. There was a lot of smoke in the air though.Guest review byHeath
