- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 172 reviewsAbsolutely lovely place to stay. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Without joking, Sipho literally runs after you ask for something until he has sorted you out. It doesn't matter what request you have they are happy to assist. The value for money and location is ideal for anyone wanting to visit Dinokeng. They have couple/single rooms and very nice family rooms as we have stayed in both. I honestly could not recommend this place enough after having stayed at quite a few places in Dinokeng already.Guest review byNickSouth Africa

They really made my birthday extra special so I really appreciate their efforts . The kitchen facilities had everything we needed & the chalet was very clean . A big 10/10 from me. The jacuzzi & braai area enabled us to bond nicely cos there is enough privacy for each chaletGuest review byZinhleSouth Africa
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 136 reviewsIt is a serene, quiet place and good for a getaway if you like the basic no nonsense facilities that places like this tend to offer. What was very nice was the built-in barbecue stand in the chalet, so I could grill my own meat.Guest review byOladeyemiSouth Africa

Dinokeng is a bit disjointed and its not easy to find your way around - even with the map provided. We were not lucky enough to see the big 5. The brewery is worth a visit! Not much game in the self drive area.Guest review byCarolSouth Africa - 10.0

The room is tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds and beautiful linen. Spacious inside, well equiped and beautifuk bathrooms. The outside kitchen is fantastic, more than enough cutlery to host your neighbours and friends. Proper cutlery and crockery is supplied. The Boma area is fantastic, with all you need, honestly the owners thought of everything. We lacked nothing. PS Wood and Ice was only a phone call and 3 minutes away, anytime of day. The shop is well stocked with everything that you could have forgotten about. I can recommend this lodge to anyone needing a bush break, you will be pleasantly surprised Lastly, very central to Dinokeng with many activities and restaurants close byGuest review byShaunSouth Africa - 6.0

The park is structured very differently to others we have visited with more than half it seems labelled no entry private property and therefore inaccessible. We saw game on the roads around the actual access gates and nothing in the reserve itself. The accommodation options are geared to a relaxing bush getaway with the game spotted on route a bonus - definitely not a Pilanesberg or Kruger experience but offers an abundance of accommodation and dining options. Conservation and self-drive fees are applicableGuest review byMichelleSouth Africa - 10.0

Personally we didn't get to see many animals which was disappointing but it may just have been our bad luck because other people we know saw plenty. The grass was very long in places which made it almost impossible to see any animals.Guest review byBruceSouth Africa - 8.0

Dinokeng Nature Reserve is beautiful and allows to easily spot the Big 5 and many other animals. Self-drive permits are available at reasonable prices. However, some gates were unmanned, so it was impossible to actually access some of the areas designated for self-drive.Guest review byTimSouth Africa
