It was located close to where we needed to go early morning so it was very convenient. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. Kids loved to stay upstairs by themselves whereas I enjoyed the spacious queen bed . The room is equipped with fridge, kettle and microwave and usual amenities like shampoos with a hair dryer. Came with a bath tub and a shower. Added bonus is the property does not seem to experience load- shedding. Maybe I got lucky but looks like it seems to apply to the neighborhood around. Great place all around. Close to restaurants by car.

Stunning and peaceful location. Thoughtful and professional staff, who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Great place for anything from peaceful walks to vigorous hikes. We saw zebras peacefully grazing in the wild as we went on a walk one day. The self catering services were great - we had a private braai and everything we need to make other meals ourselves. We also tried the exceptional chef-prepared food. The chocolate fondant is to die for! I didn't want to go home. Will definitely be back!

I can't say enough good things about my stay at La Roca. Owners Rob and Marlia and their staff couldn't have made my stay any more enjoyable than it was! My room was well appointed and the bed very comfortable! The breakfast were delicious, eggs Benedict with mushrooms and spinach the first morning and scrambled eggs with chives, bacon and cheddar cheese with a warm croissant my last morning.

We appreciated being at 55 minutes from the Kruger National...
We appreciated being at 55 minutes from the Kruger National Park and adventures activities such as river rafting on the Sabie River, walking in teh Mbombela Botanical garden or quad biking. We also enjoyed the cultural experience of the Casterbridge Lifestyle which should be more advertised and the Bosch Ceramic Studio.

Schoemanskloof is a beautiful area with stunning views and Waterfalls. There is a lot of nice affordable accomodation as well. We stayed at Klipinnibos which were absolutely wonderful!! There is a lot of hiking possibilities around the area with a lot of shade.

The facilities are exactly as advertised. Access was easy, host proactive and well communicative. Though she offers self-checkin, she holds your hand through the process. The place is 40min from Kruger National Park where all the fun is at. A must check out certainly

Gorgeous escarpment and unusual rock formations.
Gorgeous escarpment and unusual rock formations. Great to see the wild horses and visit the magnificent waterfall. Excellent restaurant with the best Eisbein and beef goulash at Bohemian. Wonderful Sunday afternoon music too. Nice to meander through the village streets. We were lucky to see the Autumn leaves turning so delightful colours everywhere.

Awesome dog friendly venue, our fur babies had a ball swimming and hiking. Venue is self catering and is well equipped. Venue is on a dirt road but we did not have any problem with our vehicles getting there. Nelspruit is close enough for doing shopping and the Kruger National Park was close by for day trips.

Great for a stay to enjoy the bush and game experience. Maybe a sprucing up/face lift of the facilities would be nice. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating and caring about the comfort of ones stay.

NOTHING WRONG WITH THE HOST. HE TRIED HIS BEST TO ACCOMMODATE US. BOOKING.COM MADE A DOUBLE BOOKING. THE HOST OFFER US HIS OWN BEDROOM EN SUITE. WE BOOKED TWO ROOMS BECAUSE WE WERE 3 PEOPLE. THIRD PERSON HAD TO SLEEP ON FLOOR. I HOLD BOOKING.COM RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS. YOU TOOK THE MONEY FOR TWO ROOMS BUT WE ONLY GOT ONE.
