Our stay at Tomjachu was exceptional. We've never experienced such a good combination of service, location and food in our lives (even compared to 4* Hotels in Germany, France, Netherlands and Austria). The dishes were generous and delicious (breakfast, dinner and the lunch-packages), the staff was welcoming, attentive and helpful be it in spontaneous planning of activities or the arrangement of something (like Bush Dinner, Nature Drive or Breakfast). Furthermore the view and the whole surroundings were stunning. They have different animals there (Wildebeest, Giraffe, lot of birds, reptiles and so on.). Some people complained about the gravel road. If you have no lowered sport car you could do the road easily (we had a Toyota Corolla Quest).

I had a wonderful stay. The place looks much better than in the pictures. It was spotlessly clean. Every detail was perfect. The hosts were excellent and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. It is a quiet and relaxing environment. The property is well laid out, and I always felt safe. The breakfasts for a guesthouse were as good as they could be, and they always tried their best to accommodate your requests. I would recommend it to anyone and would also use their facilities again.

Always loved Nelspruit from the very first time that my late...

Always loved Nelspruit from the very first time that my late father took us there. From God's window to the different water falls to the Bontanical gardens and the caves - there is so much to explore and fall in love with. It truly is an amazing place to visit

A lovely slightly quirky old mining town with lots of accommodation but comes to life at week-ends. The pub Salvatore was basic, friendly and service and food was good. Wine was generously served by the glass. Bohemian Groove was great for breakfast but is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We only had time for breakfast as we were leaving Thursday morning. But we did see a couple of the wild horses!! bonus point.

The facilities are exactly as advertised. Access was easy, host proactive and well communicative. Though she offers self-checkin, she holds your hand through the process. The place is 40min from Kruger National Park where all the fun is at. A must check out certainly

The beauty of its surrounding hills and nature. The restaurants,many to choose from. We ate at Pannarottis,good place to visit for pizza. Nelspruit is busy,but easy to find your way. Close to the Kruger,and has many places to stay.

Gorgeous escarpment and unusual rock formations.

Gorgeous escarpment and unusual rock formations. Great to see the wild horses and visit the magnificent waterfall. Excellent restaurant with the best Eisbein and beef goulash at Bohemian. Wonderful Sunday afternoon music too. Nice to meander through the village streets. We were lucky to see the Autumn leaves turning so delightful colours everywhere.

Nelspruit is just a peaceful vacation destination.

Nelspruit is just a peaceful vacation destination. Less barbaric behaviour in comparison to other cities or towns. The malls are beautiful and roads are clean with minimal reckless driving. Family friendly location with lots of activities to do like horse riding, arcade games, go karting, zip lining, cave exploring e.t.c.

Kaapsehoop is a beautiful quaint historical village hidden...

Kaapsehoop is a beautiful quaint historical village hidden in the mist belt along the Escarpment in South Africa. I would strongly recommend this village for nature lovers with its many hikes. It is also great for any-one with an interest in history with a few old ruins of the offices and the houses, most made of corrugated iron, dating from the the towns heyday as a gold mining town in the late 19th century.
