Staff service was excellent, from Reception, to F&B staff to the Housekeeping Team. The buffet breakfast was good value, and the chef was very helpful in assisting me to manage a dietary requirement.

Located 3.1 mi from Darwin CBD and 4.3 mi from Darwin Airport, is Darwin Resort. The refurbished resort offers modern air-conditioned rooms with an LCD TV, fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities.

I needed more pillows and the staff were very quick to respond to my request. My bed was a little uncomfortable and my room was quite small but overall I felt I got good value for money (a lot of the hotels in CBD were expensive). I wish the in-house dining could have been more nights than just FRI/SAT, as I was booked for a week, but was away on a camping trip those 2 nights. I wish there was a vending machine available 24/7 as the motel is a long way from any shops, etc and when you get back from a camping trip you need some snacks. There is a BP service station next door but it doesn't sell much savoury food.
