An Unforgettable Solo Birthday in Paradise! I visited Veligandu as a solo traveler for my birthday, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, I never once felt alone. The staff made me feel like I was among friends – they were incredibly kind and treated me with such warmth and care that I felt extra special throughout my stay. It truly felt like I had a second family there. The daily itineraries were packed with exciting activities – I had the chance to go snorkeling, join a dolphin cruise, and more. Every day brought something new, and I loved being able to choose how I spent my time. The dining options were plentiful, and every meal was delicious. A highlight for me was the teppanyaki restaurant – the Teperniak Chef MrZ Francis was amazing! Because it was my birthday, they even put on a whole show for me, making the experience unforgettable. Evenings were just as lively as the days. There was always something happening – one night it was jazz, and another night was 80s disco, which was by far my favorite! The entertainment and atmosphere were perfect. The food was exceptional at all times – from the breakfast selection to lunch, dinner, and even the snacks by the beach. I savored every bite and truly enjoyed every second of my stay. Initially, I booked for three nights thinking I might get bored, but by the end, I wished I had stayed for a week! I also want to give a special shoutout to the diving team. Miss Sarah, Mr. Misbah, and the absolute star, Julia, took care of me from start to finish. Julia, in particular, was incredibly comforting and made sure I felt at ease all day. I wholeheartedly recommend Veligandu – not just for the breathtaking location but for the people who make it truly special. This will not be my last visit! I can’t wait to return with my loved ones to share this magical place with them. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable!

From the moment I arrived, I was mesmerized by the breathtaking beauty of the island—crystal-clear turquoise waters, powdery white sand, and lush greenery created a true tropical paradise. 
I stayed in a stunning beach villa that offered complete privacy and direct access to the ocean. The design was elegant, blending Maldivian charm with modern comforts. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and enjoying sunset views from my private deck was pure bliss! 
The staff at Nika Resort went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Their warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine smiles made me feel like a VIP. Special thanks to Carolina, Elena, Ahmed and for their outstanding service! 
The food was exquisite—fresh seafood, delicious international cuisine, and beautifully presented dishes. The beachfront dining under the stars was a highlight, and the chefs accommodated dietary requests with a smile. Special thanks to the bartender, Amid. 
Nika Resort is a hidden gem in the Maldives, offering luxury, tranquility, and authentic island charm. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The front staff assisted us schedule a seaplane for our departure, and coordinated with the provider to ensure we arrived to the airport on time, and that we maximized our stay at the resort without worrying about transportation or long wait at the airport. The restaurant and bar staff that we interacted with were very friendly and professional too. They offered us top notch service, made us feel welcome, and our stay memorable. We hope to visit again next year.

From the moment you arrive it is fantastic, the service, the location, the sea life were excellent The all inclusive package has so many good food options and the menu is amazing, been to the Maldives before and this is another level
