What I liked the most was the space available for the clients. Large kitchen and large patio . The staff was polite, discreet and helpful. The cleanliness and the comfort of guests were a top priority for Victor who came to meet the guests several times. Very appreciated.

Miguel and the staff were excellent hosts and very helpful in many aspects of our trip. Everything at the property was well cared for, the kitchen was huge and well stocked, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable and shower water pressure was good. Extra touches like daily fresh bread, eggs and farm produce made you feel at home on the farm. It was amazing to wake up to epic views of Mt Pico and have access to a small private beach.

Rate Azorenhaus am Atlantik - Family House is a super place to stay while visiting Sao Jorge. Dirk, owner and host, greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the house. It's perfect for a couple or small family. Located about eight minutes east of the airport, it's easy to get there (although you should have navigation aids handy to locate the property - but ... you'll need navigation to get around the island more easily anyway. The location is quiet, and the home was very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the sauna that Dirk makes available. The Kitchen is well appointed, and the living area and covered porch were nice to relax on. Plus, on top of it all, we enjoyed the nice welcome basket featuring wine, bread, and cheeses from Sao Jorge. We highly recommend Rate Azorenhaus am Atlantik - Family House as a great to stay while on Sao Jorge!
