A blend of modern facilities with Colonial and Caribbean vibes, which make the place really beautiful. The rooms are spacious with a great terrace (ours overlooked the pool). The infinity pool is stunning, surrounded by palm trees and gardens with birds, gibnuts and iguanas roaming free. The beach area is great too. The whole place is quiet too which felt like we had the place just for us. Food was good, although it could have been better (see below).

Nice pool but sea is calm and warm. Great shuttle service into Placencia or local restaurants Loved the space, privacy and peacefulness of the beach suites.

Mariposa now has 10 units available for accommodations plus a restaurant, bar and a pool. Staff was amazing ready at any moment to respond to questions and requests. Beautiful location right on the beach, grounds were immaculate. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Appreciated the complimentary bikes kayaks and paddle boards.

Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy sea views. Great space - had two units (231 & 232) with a connecting balcony. Perfect for a group with three families. Loved the dock, pool & volleyball court. Jackie was super responsive and fixed an issue with the refrigerator right away - great service.
