This place is the most relaxing, beautiful and unique. I’ll highly recommend to anyone who stays in the area to come there. The staff is incredible nice and welcoming. Mogu is such an amazing human being, she will not admit it but she is a talented chef. Domind and Dilushan are always with a smile. Do yourself a favor and book this place.

Mountain Side Hakuba offers views of the mountains and the ski slopes during the winter season. The property is just a 3-minute walk away from a local ski and snowboard shop. The Happo-One Winter Resort Kokusai lift 1 is within a minute's stroll. JR Hakuba Station is a 10-minute drive. Mountain Side had everything you could need. From amazing customer service to all the facilities. The complimentary shuttle was also great. The location was great - ski in and out.

It offers guests free Wi-Fi, and ski storage lockers are available right at the entrance. Incredible service and incredible overall experience. It's like staying in a fancy cabin in the snow. The lounge area with the giant fireplace is awesome, very nice food, very spacious rooms and first class facilities such as the onsens and indoor swimming pool. The decor could be interpreted as dated (as other reviews have stated) but we felt this simply adds to the warmth and cosiness of the establishment. The service here is seriously next level and it is fantastic value for money.

Situated in Omachi, 38 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, Holiday Inn Resort Shinano-Omachi Kuroyon by IHG features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This 4-star hotel offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. Guests can have a drink at the bar. This hotel was amazing! there was a games room and play area for children and a Family Onsen as well as male and female Onsens. The staff were extremely helpful and buffet restaurant served a wide range of food. The hotel was very modern and funky and the room was big enough for 5. We rented a car from Nagano and drove to Omachi through the mountains- it was quite snowy but the car was useful to get around Omachi. Nearby Jigatake Ski slope was quite small and only bottom slope was open Mid-Dec but it was perfect for younger Children.

Everything exceeded my expectations — the room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location was perfect, with a beautiful lake view. I also really enjoyed the breakfast — it was delicious and of great quality. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Offering a magnificent view of Mount Asama, Karuizawa Asama Prince Hotel features an 18-hole golf course and a spa. JR Karuizawa Station and Karuizawa Shopping Plaza are a 12-minute drive from the resort. This hotel does the important things really well. 1) the bed is very comfortable (something you can’t always rely on in Japan!) 2) the room is quiet. No noise from neighbours, fans, motors or anything else that could disturb. 3) the room is dark. Block out curtains are used and there are minimal annoying little lights that often appear in hotel rooms like bright lights on air con units, light switches etc. The onsen is lovely’s don’t the facilities attached to the onsen are clean and adequate. The staff are friendly and polite. This place is a very comfortable place to stay and I would definitely stay here again.

The spacious rooms offer beautiful views of the surrounding nature, while Free WiFi is available in public areas and in the guest room. The hotel was very comfortable, included many nice amenities, the staff was very friendly and helpful, very nice installations.
