Nestled amongst the natural and lush greenery of the rainforests near the border between Malaysia and Brunei, Mulu Marriott Resort is located on Melinau Paku River in Miri. The resort boasts a large fitness centre, pool and a sauna. It is 20 minutes from the Mulu Airport by car. The front desk, driver, and restaurant crew were friendly and very helpful.

Permai Rainforest Resort is an eco-friendly resort at the foot of Mount Santubong, a 5-minute walk from Sarawak Cultural Village. The resort offers a café and barbecue facilities.

Each cabin at Permai Resort is equipped with a fridge and tea/coffee maker. En suite bathrooms come with hot shower facilities. I like the environment & the ambiance there, felt like we were staying in the forest, and the staffs are all accommodating & cheerful. We love this resort very much, we even spotted a few proboscides there & definitely will come back again.

Great location, beautiful sunset and surroundings . Very nice and helpful staf.

For guests who drive, free parking is provided. We had lovely time in Damai Beach Resort. Since the receptioninst made a mistake and put into the wrong category of accomodation, we have seen both. Invest into the premium category, you will not regret it. That part of the hotel is a paradise. The standart category is ok but it doesnt even get half way to the experience you get on the top of the hill. There are great pools in the resort and you practically have the beach for yourself.

Located along Miri-Bintulu Road, Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort is a 30-minute drive from Miri Airport. Miri City centre is a 50-minute drive away while Bintulu Town is a 2-hour drive away.

Fitted with wooden flooring, Borneo Resort’s air-conditioned rooms and chalets come with a balcony, which allows views of nature. They are equipped with a private bathroom and a TV with cable channels. Tea/coffee making facilities and a minibar are available. This resort at one time must have been very popular, but it appears it now has a hard time attracting customers. Since it's such a big place, it probably has a hard time keeping up the infrastructure, with more limited guests. The reviews are mixed on this site, but I really enjoyed the trails. I didn't take advantage of the water park, but it seems like a nice place for families with kids.
