Room wasn´t very clean (hair in bathroom), traditional breakfast didn´t look fresh

We had a pipe burst in the bathroom, so we had water everywhere and could not use the bathroom on the day of our departure. Im sure they fixed this for the next guests, though.

On the top of the castle, unique view to the valley. Dining on the walls of castle. You can park in front of the restaurant. No additional charge for a dog. Nice walk to the old market of Kruja.

Room described as deluxe, but was pretty basic. Not as well equipped, nor as good value for money, as other places we stayed in Albania, but views do compensate! Family are keen for you to dine in their restaurant, but there are arguably better alternatives in Kruje.

Booking.com advertises that credit cards are accepted and cash isn’t. It is just the opposite! No cards, cash only up front. Fortunately we had enough cash but others didn’t, which necessitated a 500m walk down the steep road to an ATM. The road up to Emilianos is VERY steep and our shuttle from the airport couldn’t make it up, so we had to drag our cases over broken cobblestones and rocks for some 400m up the steep hill. We are in our mid 70’s!

Very welcoming staff and great being able to eat on the top of the castle. Food was good, the room was comfortable.

One of our pillows smelled like someone had sweated over it, luckily we had many spare ones. The beds did their job but their stability is not that strong, therefore you have to move very carefully on them.

This place is very unique, it is very spacious, you are on top of a hill, which means clean air for your lungs! You are also in a historical site, right in front of a watchtower and former chapel. The staff were really kind and helpful, they offered us some dinner, too bad we have had a huge lunch before our arrival so we skipped it. The room was very big, fresh and it had the essentials.

Excellent location to visit Kruja, beautiful location on the castle with perfect views over the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we had a lovely (vegetarian) traditional meal. Rooms were not very big but had everything you needed. Ideal parking on site

Quite tricky to drive up there but it was all worth it at the end - the host sent detailed instructions which helped w lot.

The location was stunning, breakfast and dinner was homemade and absolutely delicious. Truly Albanian experience!

Breakfast was local foods, fresh and tasty but a bit small. Room was okay and staff was really nice and helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant in evening and their local menus were perfect.

The rooms are basic but the hotel has a good location.

Very friendly staff in family hotel. They recommand traditional meal, coocked by the mother of the family, that is super delicious.

The only issue was with the payment as they only accept cash even though in the reservation is well written that we can pay by card. And even when we said OK for the cash amount they did a weird convesion rate lek-euro. So make sure you bring euros.

Beautiful location with a great view. Nice staff (family) and we enjoyed a delicious traditionel dinner a great breakfast. It was a bite of a challenge to get there by car, but it worked out fine. You really have to drive up to the end of the hill.

It was cold in the room as the windows didn't fully seal out the cold wind from outside.

Very friendly and helpful staff, amazing building right in the grounds of the castle and only a short walk to the old bazaar. Really good food too. I stayed in Kruja as an alternative to an airport hotel and this was definitely a good choice.

Room was very small and basic and could have been cleaner.

Amazing location on castle grounds though hard to get to by car. Nice restaurant with good value traditional food. Breakfast included was substantial and delicious.
