It is a tad pricey among our stays but then again everything around El Chalten is pricey.

The room we stayed in probably has one of the best view among all locations in El Chalten. We literally woke up to the view of Fitz Roy from our bed. Area is quiet and we get to see random cat by our window. Breakfast selection is awesome. Room is clean. Warm shower.

A little walk to the main Fitzroy hike but Chalten isn't huge so not a massive issue.

Very clean and comfortable, friendly staff - will help with money exchange. Can get breakfast early if you want it - bits put on table and in fridge and marked with room number.

Bed was quite small. Would be good to have oats/more hearty options for breakfast to fill up before big day of hiking.

Morning front desk ladies were unwelcoming. Wifi would become quite slow in the evenings, usually around 8pm.

Location: Easy walk from the bus station, had no problem finding the property or checking in. Was also easy to get to the main street, only a couple of blocks, and from there about a 20 minute walk to the Fitz Roy trailhead. Room: Requested a room with a private bathroom and it was cozy on the second floor. Room was clean and bedding was clean and comfortable. Heating was functional. Breakfast: on the lighter side, some thin pieces of toast, marmalade, orange juice, and coffee. Nice that they were able to accommodate an earlier breakfast [earlier than 730am] if you wanted to get an early start. Other: Front desk was helpful in providing information on hikes. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe at this location.

I actually burned myself quite badly from the hot water in the shower (the showers are very small and I wasn't able to get out of the way by the time I realized the water was too hot). There's no signage to be careful with the hot water. Just be extra precautious. The building itself is somewhat far away (about 15 to 20 minutes walking) away from the main trailheads. Otherwise the stay was wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place despite the burn.

Super friendly staff and comfortable cozy beds. Breakfast every morning is great. Views of Fitzroy are awesome. Never had to wait for a bathroom.

you bump into other guests, which of course, you can’t control. most are nice but once in a while you get a snobby couple :-)

It's pretty close to the bus station, but as a result it's also far away (~20 min) from the Fitz Roy trek starting point. The facilities were great, we enjoyed the breakfast (they can prepare a box if you want to start early), comfy beds and hospitality. It was warm and cozy inside, and we definitely appreciated this given the weather was very bad on one of the days. Overall, a very nice place to stay in El Chalten!

My only regret is that I couldn’t extend my stay.

Exceptionally clean and quiet. No big deal about sharing the bathroom, because I never had to wait my turn. Eva, Joana, Anita, and the young woman who cleans and helps serve breakfast all do a great job of creating a warm and homey ambience. They also help with trek suggestions and arranging transfers. This place deserves all the praise it gets.

As the weather was not so good, would have been good to have more comfortable space to hang around. WiFi could be better, but it seems to be for all El Chalten
