Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe maids started trying to get in to the room from 8.10am even with a 12pm check out. I'd specifically choose that hotel for its checkout time and they tried to get in 9 times between 8.10am and 10.46am. The door buzzes each time they tried
Rooms, really clean and spacious compared to the standard hotel room

UkraineThe walls in the bathroom had descent cracks, so I believe that the building needs some renovation. Also there is a huge construction of U-Bahn near the hotel so finding it is not very simple.
I enjoyed that the room was quite big, also it was clean and had all the needed facilities. Location is not far away from the city centre and the staff was really nice.

United KingdomThere is a lot of construction around the hotel (so be prepared for this if you are on the first floor). The interiors are quite outdated and some could use a bit of work (particularly in the lobby area).
Great price considering the location in Vienna. The room was very big and spacious. The check-in was simple and easy. The room was overall quite clean.

CyprusThere was no proper air conditioner. The one available is very old and doesn’t help when it’s hot. No proper food available. There are machines with snacks but you need coins to buy anything, I doubt everyone has coins all the time.

CyprusYou hardly see any staff and the late check in starts very early. If you arrive after a certain time, you have to check in yourself and do not come across with any staff. Not many amenities in the room.

UkraineBefore booking read carefully what is supposed to be in the room, otherwise the room will not meet your expectations: you will be surprised to find no phone, no glasses for water, no water and no fridge :) Reception does not work 24/7, consider this. Some reconstruction was currently very close to the hotel, so be ready to wake up early beacuse of the noise outside. Hopefully this inconvinience will not last forever :)
Not far from the central railway station; getting from here to the center is quite easy: on foot (30 minutes), by tram. There are a couple of supermarkets around + caffees. The room is big. The bed is quite comfortable. Would be a good option for those willing to stay for one night and travel further.

United KingdomThere is a 3 hour window for check-in (3-6pm). Having arrived at 1pm we left our luggage in the storage room but had to cut our time in central Vienna short just to get back in time before 6pm to move our luggage out of the storage room. I don't think this meets international hotel standards. The decor is a bit tired, and the walls inside the room could do with a fresh coat of paint.
The hotel is clean, and the noise level is low considering the location (double glazed windows) It's good value in Vienna.

UkraineThe beds were not the best. The matresses were not good. The carpet on the floor was with stains. The shower system is very strange but everything worked well.
The hotel is very close to the main railways station. The administrator is a very nice man. The room was huge, even had a spare sofa for working. It is situated in the old building. Very nice stairs. The view from the window is very good.

PolandI missed the AC,but ok,there was a fan. I also wish the Wifi was better,as it was very poor.I stayed at the 4th floor,I needed to stay near the door to catch a WiFi :) If you want to rest and spend some time offline, than the room will be perfect! Also,no refrigerator… summers are hot and can’t keep the water and drinks cold :(
The location is great, just a few steps away from the bus/train station. There are supermarkets and coffee shops around.I loved the comfy bed and soft duvet, huge bathroom, huge room! Even if it’s so close to the street and station, windows perfectly hide the noise.

United KingdomThe hotel WiFi blocked my webmail and my VPN. There is currently (April 24) a construction project going on in front of the hotel, so on work days there is noise if you are trying to sleep in. The room doesn't have a fridge or a tea/coffee making facilities.
Comfortable, spacious, clean, good value. Located very close to a café, a late night food takeaway, a short walk from a supermarket. Across the street from The Matzleinsdorfer Platz railway station and tram stop.

GermanyAfter spending a few hours in my room, at around 8 p.m., a big and loud fight begins to happen just next to my room door, with people screaming and being violent. Since the fight was taking place next to my room door, I haven't felt safe in leaving my room, so I tried to contact the reception but got no answer, not via hotel room phone or my private mobile phone. The fight went on undisturbed for around 45 minutes. After that, I could go down to the lobby and inform the receptionist. The receptionist told me that police were already there and that SOME PEOPLE GOT INSIDE THE HOTEL FROM THE STREET. I honestly find it unacceptable that no control was present whatsoever and people were coming from outside. I decided to leave the hotel also because, after reading several reviews, I felt unsafe. For the price, I would have expected a better service.
