Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe sound insulation is not really good. It could be quite noisy if the hotel room is facing to the street.
- The location can be reached by two Metro Lines. Although it is not in the middle of the city, but with public transport, the travelling time is still acceptable. And there are also supermarkets around. - The facility is not really new anymore, but it is still clean.

GreeceWe expected the room to be a bit bigger but in any case we enjoyed our stay! Would recommend it 👌
The room was warm and cozy and the bathroom spacy. Close enough to the city center , next to the metro station.

United KingdomThere is no kettle in the room, so you need to go downstairs to get tea and coffee. The lift wasn't working when we stayed so as you can imagine we did not get to use this perk much. The shower was a little small, the bed and bathroom both had some rough edges, a bit of marks on the walls and blood on sheets. I felt I did not get my moneys worth.
The lobby was very nice. I definitely felt like it was a posh hotel. The bed was very comfortable. There were numerous train and tram stops nearby.

SwitzerlandBreakfast is much too expensive for what is offered. 15 euros per person. Nearby there is a Viennese coffee house which offers very good breakfast much cheaper. Very cramped feeling in the bathroom. Bathtub with separating glass instead of a shower cubicle is not state of the art. With the extremely small size of the TV, it's better not to have one in the room at all. I think my PC screen at home is much bigger. All furniture a bit old-fashioned and lovelessly put together. The flooring has its best years behind it.
Price / performance was OK Good location and good public transport connections

United KingdomI wish that whether or not breakfast was included was better explained - especially the price. Ended up spending €30 on 2 pastries because it was mentioned when breakfast was, but not the price of the food or if it was included. That would have been very helpful information that made the stay a bit less happy than anticipated.
Staff were mostly very helpful and the room was lovely

GermanyVery nice hotel, clean and comfortable. The location is good, with a tram station 3 minutes away. Also, the people at the desk were very friendly and with good disposition to help. I really recommend this hotel and I would definitely come back here if I am ever back in Vienna.

RomaniaThe room was very dusty and it was smaller than the pictures on site. The air conditioning was barely working. We were told we were going to have a kettle in our room but we didn’t. And also the housekeeping service was awful(one day the lady came at 8 o’clock in the morning)

United KingdomOur short family stay at this hotel was unfortunately ruined by the behavior of one staff member, which cast a shadow over the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, his attitude was unprofessional, he was texting on his phone and made us wait in silence until he finished before even acknowledging us. It was not a welcoming start. The parking situation was also problematic. The car park is very small, with a steep entrance that's not suitable for larger vehicles. We only managed to park briefly before realising how difficult it was to get the car out. We had to move it and park outside instead. When we requested a refund for the parking, the same staff member was unhelpful and kept delaying the process. It felt like he was trying to avoid refunding us altogether. Only after persistent explanation did he reluctantly agree, but his attitude throughout was extremely unpleasant. The room itself had multiple issues. Part of the curtain was lying on the floor and the rest didn’t close properly, so we were woken up very early by the sunlight. The fridge wasn’t working at all, which was particularly concerning because I needed to store medicine and food that required refrigeration. Although they offered us a different room, the fridge in that one also didn’t function properly, so I ended up buying ice and using a personal icebox instead. Cleanliness was another issue. The carpet was dirty, and the bathroom bin had dried, dark-colored liquid at the bottom that smelled terrible. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned before our arrival. While I understand that no hotel is perfect, the combination of poor customer service, lack of cleanliness, and broken amenities made this stay very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially for families or anyone expecting a comfortable and respectful environment.
The room design and a balcony. Sufficient light into the room. Good working air conditioner.

SpainWe had a booking for 2 nights at the hotel, due to travel changes we arrived this morning at 6am at the hotel. We have let the hotel know and they confirmed that we have the room at 6am, we obviously paid the night before to have everything correct. After a long travel we arrived at the hotel and despite not getting in for 30 min (which we finally could after another guest let us in) we saw a sign that said the hotel reception is not going to be there before 9am with a phone number. We called a couple of times and no one picked up. As we are here for a wedding and need to be at the place at 12.00(noon) we had to look for another hotel, as we need to rest and get ready. The emergency Numbers from the hotel did not work. On booking.com there has been false advertisement about the 24hour reception as well as false promises from the hotel itself that we could enter the room at 6am. There is an IBIS hotel in front of this hotel, which has the same price and is way better. I recommend everyone to go there. Till today the hotel has not responded.

United StatesDidn't spend much time in room, so there was nothing that stood out.
We needed a reasonably priced hotel for two nights for two adults and two "tween-aged" kids. This room was set up to provide what we needed exactly, and with plenty of space. It made our short stay in Vienna very pleasant . We had breakfast only one of the mornings, and it was simple but nice. The hotel is adjacent to grocery stores, a bakery, and close to public transportation. It was quiet too.

AustriaFew major points: I believe that nowadays any hotels in the world should have a typical, standard safe with individual code, but not an ancient box when you have to get a key upon downpayment. Besides, this place has to take care how wallpapers look like (in my room so many black huge spots) or to replace curtains (dirty curtains with huge holes, sorry but sort of a shame!). I could understand if this place has charged 20-30 euro max per night, but not with their rates. there were no any radiators in the room (no idea, how it works in winter, but also radiator in the bathroom didn't work, yet it was still beginning of March. I was lucky the weather so atypically very warm, otherwise, very uncomfortable. For breakfast, I would suggest to have at least 1-2 different things with lactose free ingredients, or fruits & vegetables. I had to buy my own stuff to have it (usually, hotel provided it extra for me as complimentary). I guess for 16 Euro per person charged, it has to contain better selection. However, the location is quite good, yet the street wasn't quiet at night.

NetherlandsWorst beds i have ever seen in a hotel. The double beds were really small, like less than 140cm making it hard to fit a couple comfortably. Matterasses were very very hard - the whole family felt back pains in the morning. Rooms walls are very thin, hearing the neighbours and people passing infront of the door. Cleaning ladies woke us up 2 times while cleaning the neighbouring rooms in 9h in the morining, laudly speaking to eachoteher - i had to ask them to be more quite. In general we had the feeling the staff did not care and 80% of the time there was noone at the reception. Whole place were smelling like cigarets as there was a staff member constantly smoking outside and sometimes in the rooms being cleaned.
Price was good. Location not bad, but not so close to the center.
