Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineManagement need to revise their policy about electricity switch key: if one of guests need to go out in the evening and another doesn't: or your room mate stays without electricity, or you will need to wake him up to open the entrance door for you (the key that's switch on the electrical power in the room in heavily attached key ring with entrance door key).
Free parking is a big advantage.

Bosnia and HerzegovinaBathroom is outdated, but it’s functionality is ok. Would like to have at least ventilation, though.
Location is near perfect, about 300 meters from U2 metro station Aspernstraße. Stuff spoke English very good and were very friendly. Parking is spacious and free, it is located near the hotel building.

CroatiaLight in the bathroom could not be turned back on after the timer switches it off you need to wait a few minutes. Cuttlery in the kitchenette is really basic and low quality. In the corridor leading up to the room only emergency lighting was working.
Room was big and clean. Location is nice and quiet and near the underground station. Good value for money.

SloveniaThe shower drain was clogged, so whenever you have a shower you end up standing in a pool of dirty water as it takes ages for the water to drain. The bathroom/room could also be a bit cleaner. Also, the breakfast is not worth the price.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, location is great in a quiet residential area with shops and metro nearby. The hotel also has a spacious free parking lot, which is great if you're travelling by car.

GreeceThe bathroom although sparkling clean, had this awful smell, probably from the sewage. The pillows were really uncomfortable.
The staff was very helpful and the room clean. It was very close to the metro station and it gave a tradiitonal vibe.

It’s a clean and comfort room. The breakfast is pretty delicious and the location is good, too. It’s very quiet at night and also very near to the subway station.

HungaryThe toilet took ages to flush. The suction in the bathroom was not working so there was "mist" after a shower. The safe could not be used: it was (still) locked, so one could not open it. When we told all of this to the receptionist at check-out, she nodded but did not seem to try to remember it all.
The room was pretty big and had comfortable beds. The area was out of the centre and therefore quiet, but still easy to reach with public transport. The staff was friendly.

SerbiaWe stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We arrived late first night but they left us room key with instructions in night safe and we easily find our room. Hotel is nice, room was spacious, clean, there was little kitchen area with some basic essentials. Staff was very helpful and they answered all our questions that we had. Hotel is well connected to the city center since metro station (U2 metro) is 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel, so you can leave your car at the hotel parking lot.

PolandIt's possible to connect to wi-fi only one device per person. Probably you can ask for the additional vouchers. The pillows were too small, that's the most disappointing thing about the hotel.
The room was simple but clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to the subway station so it was easy to go to the city center.

SwitzerlandThe fridge was not working and the soap dispenser over the washbasin was not working. We asked them to fix that, they were not able to fix the fridge due to public holiday but the soap dispenser was fixed and again got spoiled after 1 use.
Room was very well planned. It had every thing that a person needs and every corner was utilised properly. They had enough storage which is almost always missing in hotels these days. we really appreciated the whole experience. Public transport U bahn is 3 mins walking which is a huge plus and they had large parking space.

Czech RepublicThe beds were not much comfortable, but acceptable for one night. There was a group of smoking and beer-drinking guys in front of the hotel, who looked a bit scary. Except for the unpleasant cigarette smoke that was around them when we passed them, it was ok.
The hotel is near Vienna public transport and has a large parking area. It was one of the main reasons for our choice. Even though we did not need it, there was a kitchenette in the room and a dining table, which was pleasant. The hotel was clean and quiet during our stay.

Czech RepublicWe were probably unlucky with our apartment, but the outside window blinds were kinda broken which combined with high wind ended up with the blinds hitting the window making really bad noices all the night.
The price/quality ration was really nice when it comes to Vienna in christmas times. The place is far from city center but close to a metro station. Parking included was also nice.
