Stuff was very unpleasant especially the boss. We even had an argument about the parking place, which is basically a street parking that needs to be paid. Another option is private hotel parking (max 4 spots) which is charged 25euro. The problem is they advertise the hotel as if the parking is included. The “reception” was empty most of the time which made the communication even harder.

Nothing at all! “Hotel” with a view to the graveyard, dirty floors, smelly rooms (old carpet effect) and poor breakfast.

Everything was just fine.

Cute little family hotel, everything we need was here, towels, soap, comfortable beds, tv, mini bar. Breakfast was good, we booked 2 nights with our 6 year old daughter and food was great for her too. Bus station is across the hotel, beautiful park too. Great stay for family!

The restaurant staff by dinner time was very unpleasant and persistently rude. I recommend all guests avoid the restaurant if they can. I had one dinner and one was too much.

We stayed there 3 nights. It was indeed an excellent hotel. The room are very spacious. We booked one family room and one double room. The double room had a sitting are and the family room actually consists of two separate bed rooms! The night we arrived, it was late and the kitchen already closed. However, they cooked for us and served us a very delicious meal. The breakfast was amazing, they had very fresh juice and freshly baked breads and all sorts of cakes. There are 3 bus lines running next to the hotel, so also easily reachable. Overall, very good experience and highly recommended to stay with family.

very noisy location, whole night you hear cars on the near street, bad old windows without noise isolation old equipment of bathroom, especially faucets, they should be changed hotel is not barriers free, stairs to the elevator (not good if you have someone on wheelchair)

We got a completely different room from the one we booked. The hotel is located near the tombs and overlooks the tombs. I would not recommend booking in it at all.

Very run down property .The fridge wasn’t working.It was 34C outside.The night table was just about falling into pieces .It was a nightmare to check in .The owner was so rude at breakfast.Not hygienic with our gluten free roll He just throw it into my basket that had my roll .It was still frozen inside.I would never go to this place again .We’ve been to many 3 star places and we prefer to help out the family run business but these people should just sell up and be done with it .I paid for a room with garden view and they gave us a street view room .It was very noisy .We could also hear lots of noise from the hallway .The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.The pillow was ok .Do yourself a favour and don’t bother going there .

There were basically nothing left at 9:00 for breakfast. I was waiting that someone will add at least ham, cheese and bread (nothing to say about eggs), but the stuff added only milk and coffee, when some guests mentioned that there are no milk for corn flakes and no coffee. The room needs a renovation. Also there was a smell like someone was smoking in the room.

Good location near a Zoo. Cheap parking: 4.10 EUR per day.

There is no AC in the room but the stay was still comfortable enough even during the 2022 summer heat wave. The neighbourhood is quiet enough to have windows opened during the night.

The room was very clean and staff very polite. Bathroom and toilet were very clean too. The Hotel is well maintained and taken care of. WiFi coverage was excellent and also the WiFi speed was great. Public parking is right next to the hotel with a hotel discount. The hotel is situated right next to bus station (lines 56A/B and 58A/B) that connect it to an underground station (U4 line - Hietzing station) within a few minutes. You can reach the city centre in about 20min. We have also visited Vienna ZOO which is within the walking distance of the Hotel. A great and affordable starting place for Vienna exploration. Recommended.

Difficult to say, actually, we loved it all. Just may be it was a little bit difficult without air conditioner during hot summer, but I realize it's a historic building, and there is no place for conditioner here. Still may be some fan in the room would have been great for a summer.

I really loved my experience in the Bergwirt Hotel. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, GREAT restaurant and GREAT food - not just breakfast, we enjoyed to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. Loved the location near Shonbrunn park and palace, and the city center is also within easy reach by public transport. The historic building in the art-nouveau style also added to the atmosphere.

Hotel Bergwirt Schönbrunn simply captures the essence of old Vienna. A beautiful building with the feeling of home, where you can see the extra care and the personal touch of a family business. The rooms are cozy and elegant, and I appreciated that the design is not following the rather cold and modern style. The beds are incredibly comfortable, bathrooms spacey and everything is absolutely clean. a particular thought for the soft carpet that feels amazing under feet. Excellent restaurant, huge portions and very decent prices, a place where you can taste the Viennese food at its best. Sachertorte is a delight and the raspberry lemonade delicious. a particular word for the staff, friendly, helpful and speaking excellent English, and once again my thanks for the gentleman at the concierge, who is not only an excellent professional but a wonderful human being as well. Definitely a place to choose and to return to.
