Beautiful, clean, a taste of Austrian architecture and design, amazing breakfast, coffees, cake and apples available every afternoon. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly, our balcony view was beautiful in room 321, love the foldout table in balcony. Nice deep bath for aching joints, hadn’t had a bath like that for years. Quiet location, wonderful walks around the lake 17 miles, complete in 2 days. Would love to come back. You won’t be disappointed.

Breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit and vegetables, local meats and cheeses, homemade omelets with vegetables and cheese, and lots of choices of fruit juice and coffee. My daughters enjoyed hot chocolate. Plus there was the delicious local bread rolls with seeds. The room was large and we enjoyed the balcony that looked onto the quaint village. The owners went out of their way to make our stay feel like we were at home. They answered two long emails even before we arrived. They offered a laundry service so we could wash our clothes halfway through our stay. They allowed us to pet their adorable cream golden retriever! Also, the owner showed me how to use to Wolfgangsee card so I could ride the bus and train to Salzburg for free. This alone saved us a lot of money. There is a lovely lounge where you can relax, and also coffee and tea and snacks are provided during the day. There is a grocery store near the hotel where you can buy delicious food for lunch, which we stored in the fridge in our room.

The hotel is very close to the edge of the lake and has parking available on site. Whilst the rooms are not overly large they are comfortable The lady on the front desk was especially welcoming and helpful.

This was our final stay in Austria and it was the absolute best! The owners and staff are incredibly welcoming and accommodating in every way. They provide a superb breakfast accompanied by detailed information about possible sight seeing opportunities. This is truly helpful. On New Year’s Eve, they invited guests to join them to raise a toast to the New Year and we got to meet some wonderful people. In the afternoons, delicious coffee, cakes and snacks are offered in the beautiful lounge alongside a wide array of board games. The ability to park next to the hotel, in their private parking area, is a massive bonus. This historical building is outstanding as is the decor. Both rooms were beautifully decorated and the balconies provided great views. Thoughtful welcome gifts were left in the rooms too. We really did not want to leave! Thank you for your gracious hospitality.

Excellent accommodation in the center of St. Wolfgang a few minutes from the port. The hotel was very comfortable with traditional equipment. Breakfasts were excellent. We enjoyed the lobby with small refreshments for free. A big advantage was a private beach with paddle boards for free for hotel guests. I recommend this hotel.

We loved the hotel but our room was a little warm at night if it had been a particularly warm day. Be prepared for some noise at night if your room faces the town square, although the double glazed window and door does provide very good sound insulation.

We loved this fantastic hotel which has a traditional feel and is family run. The view from our room over the centre of the village was great. Our room was large and beautifully furnished. If you were to arrive by car, the free parking provided by the hotel is perfectly fine despite the hotel being at the centre of the village. The hot and cold breakfast is excellent, both the quality and the choice available. Staff are polite, friendly and professional. We doubt that you will be disappointed with the Zimmerbrau.

We would expect breakfast to be included for the price charged. Fortunately the place is full with excellent sit-down bakeries and tasting an apfelstrudel along with some capucino is also a good alternative before going out to enjoy beautiful hiking paths in the surroundings.

The location is right in the center of this charming small town, close to restaurants and to the lake small promenade. They provide coffee and snacks in the hotel’s living room area in the afternoon. We received recommendations for dinner (quite good) and some attractions in the area.

Could have benefited from a fan in the room , there is no air con so it was very hot and was woken early by refuse collection at 6.30am due to open window. Ground floor rooms noisy.

Friendly staff and amazing location in the middle of the historic town. Liked the availability of coffee and cake in the afternoon and the private lakeside garden was gorgeous.
