Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. AustraliaI did not like the arrangement with Q stay, which was not obvious when I made the booking through booking.com The apartment as not available till 3pm and we had to pick up the keys from q stay office in a different location Checkout wax at 10 am and as the booking was not directly though the Aegean. We were not able to use the pools after that time, which would be standard if we had booked through them

AustraliaCould have been cleaned a bit better in the bathrooms. Other peoples hair was still on the floor and on the vanity. Tiles look like they need a good scrub, look a bit old and grubby
The space, the layout and 2 bedrooms. The view was amazing also. Decorated lovely too, loved the shell pictures on the walls. The pool areas were fab too.

AustraliaSome extra blankets would have been nice to use around the couch. There was no spare towels, 1 towel per bed so there was no extra towels for using the pool facilities. There was a broken balcony door.
The view was amazing. The cooking facilities were exceptional, minus the couple of pans that were not non-stick. The king bed was perfect. So roomy and spacious and the facilities of the apartment were great. The bedroom doors also have locks on them. I love that there was plenty of plates and even a tableware container.

AustraliaI was disappointed with the arrangement with Q Stay, which was not clearly stated when I booked through Booking.com. The apartment was unavailable until 3 PM, and we had to collect the keys from the Q Stay office at a separate location. The bed in the bedroom was making a squeaky noise. The internet speed was very slow, and mobile data was also sluggish. The balcony light was not working. The living room light was also out.
