Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaAll booking options state "free wifi", however, the wifi is not available anywhere else in the area besides the reception/entrance of the entire cove itself. Yes it was nice to "switch off" but also would have been nice to book a restaurant or plan an outing if wifi was available inside the cabin. Mobile data was also unavailable besides from the entrance of the cove itself. No booking sites stipulate that there is about 5-6km worth of unsealed road, single lane. More signage would have been useful to say yes you're going the right way to "the cove" when finding the place for the 1st time. Beds were horrendously over used, thin, lumpy. Pillows also super lumpy.
Liked all the facilities. Liked how close we were to the ocean. (If the weather wasn't so windy) Its truly a beautiful spot/accommodations.

AustraliaMissing milk for our coffee, however asked reception and they supplied a small amount which was appreciated as the drive to the shops is 40mins return.
Location and facilities were great. The wildlife was friendly and a added bonus to our stay. The 2 bedroom cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable and accommodated our family of 4 really well. Would love to come back in the warmer weather as we stayed in the July winter school holidays.

AustraliaWe stayed in the glamping tents but they were soooo extremely hot that you couldn’t spend any time relaxing there during the day. The glamping facilities were very dirty and don’t look anything like in the photos. We got a tiny tiny section of a fridge to store a whole lot of supplies because they warm you bring enough food for your stay (the shops are quite a drive). There was A LOT of kangaroo poo everywhere. I think they were running on skeleton staff since we stayed over the Xmas period. In their defence the staff who were onsite were very sweet and lovely.
Amazing location! absolutely beautiful beach and bush location. Loved being surrounded by all the wildlife and the weather was incredible. The staff were very sweet and helpful!

Amazing layout, kids loved exploring the play areas/settings - great for adults too. Wonderful place to relax. Hammocks, games to play, nearby beach, kayak or SUP, play chess or other games.

AustraliaThe extremely bumpy drive in! Brace yourself for a 25 minute drive over many pot holes, the drive into the The Cove itself made me nauseous! There is limited phone signal which I quite liked as it allowed us to switch off and be present, however, unlike The Woods Farm location there was no power points in the Glamping Tents themselves. The mould that was beginning to grow on the tents was evident.
We have visited both Glamping sites (The Woods Farm) now at Jervis Bay and the location of The Cove makes it so special and unique! The kayaks, paddle boards and to have the beach so close by made it so enjoyable! I loved how close the facilities were to the glamping tents and we especially loved the outdoor bath! As it was school holidays there was many activities for the kids, yoga, movie nights with free ice cream and popcorn, a kids disco and many more. I believe this place is a wonderland for kids to roam wild and free and as a parent it feels safe for them to do so at The Cove. The wild kangaroos made the experience amazing too, they were curious, gentle and friendly. Highly recommend and we cannot wait to plan our next trip!

AustraliaOne of the best weekends away I’ve had in Australia - I’ve lived in Australia for 5 years and I can hands down say this location is spot on. From the wallabies bouncing about, to the communal areas, open fires, marshmallows on offer, and pizza ovens! I would highly recommend this for any couples, groups who want a relaxing weekend away and want to make the most of Jervis and the surrounding activities! 10/10

AustraliaExtremely poor customer service. We booked glamping tent. Photos are nothing like what you see on the website. Check in was at 4pm as per the website, we waited until 5.15 and the tents were still not ready. Mud all around the tents. The receptionist was very rude and dismissive of the fact that we waited in the cold for over an hour. At 5.15pm, receptionist offered a sachet coffee or tea as a compensation and refused a refund. Please read fine prints and look at the pictures carefully before you both this place.

AustraliaSo many families with heaps of kids. No personal space (alot of people - especially families with lots of kids running around at all hours) and very loud. Smell of sewerage. Kids were weeing on the bath during my stay. I didn't find the amenities clean at all. No hot water when I was staying - so I couldn't shower. No power to your room which I feel you should at least have if you call its glamping and for the high price. Non functioning power-points in the facilities provided for you. No staff to be found after 5pm if you have an issue or to greet you on check in. Nothing like the photos advertised - mould on the tent roof - no furry rug/blanket - one set of fairy lights worked in our tent. The road to get there is ridiculous - almost need a 4 wheel drive. We were meant to have a space in the fridge but the fridge was full to the brim with other glampers food. If you like wildlife such as mice running on the roof of your tent you will like it though.
The location being right on the beach is nice (once there after the terrible drive down). Very hard to get to though (off road) and no restaurants or supermarkets close by which does make it tricky (good if you really want to escape from town). The fairy lights and lights at night were pretty. If you are a couple expecting a tranquil experience like the photos suggest you won't enjoy this experience.
