Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Stayed for a week and had to ask to get our room.cleaned. sink clogged up once and some lights in the bathrooms didn't work.

Units are getting a bit rundown and no one seems to upgrade them. Our unit needed furniture replacing, batteries replaced in all remote controls and curtains cleaned, replaced. Also lots of little bugs in shower need sorted look like they were coming out of bathroom fan.
Have stayed here for year at EKKA time and it is super convenient. Close to everything and great facilities.

There was no extra bedding, so I was freezing through the night. Which was disappointing to only have a sheet and thin blanket in winter! Made for a very uncomfortable cold night.

The apartment is was first given smelt like cat urine. I was asked to be moved but another in my party was given the same room. Rooms are a little tired but understandable for the cost

There’s a really strong smell in our unit which caused me to get hay fever badly, we had to leave the door open. Wasn’t sure if it’s the air con.

Needs updating. Couch only just fits two people and the cushions on there need a good wash or thrown out. Theatre room is now a storage room and the pool is not heated. Bed was comfortable and shower was good.

- Only 3 chairs for table, and 3 seater sofa for 4 adults. - Ensuite didn't have a fan so had to shower with door a little open - shower pressure very weak - AC/Heater didn't work (we followed instructions in info book) - more blankets would have been nice (only one extra per room) - WiFi didn't work, code in info book had expired - inside window by dining table wouldn't close

Was early for checkin. Had hoped there would be a secure room to leave luggage until my unit was ready. Had to leave my luggage in the foyer at my own risk.

Staff were not very obliging. Property had some issues with maintenance which were not fixed such as bed head loose, toilet paper holder missing and glasses for 2 instead of the 4 guests. Not enough pillows. Requests to have these issues fixed were not actioned. Staff on their phones instead of trying to fix issues.
Property generally clean in reasonable condition.

The facilities wasn’t as clean as I would like it to be. Mould on the silicon in the shower. The lounge wasn’t comfortable and felt worn out.

Arriving by car there is now where to park, street parking is non existent, tried to enter hotel car parking at other side of building but it had security gate, the intercom at the entrance did not connect to reception and there was no contact number to even ring reception. Dont know how you are expected to check in - we found parking around 150 metres away and walked back to reception. There needs to be a procedure communicated to guests as how to gain access to site to check in, some form of contact to reception should be supplied - this is a management system failure and needs to be improved

Staff very unprofessional, dressed in casual attire didn’t even realise they worked there. Had a very dismissive attitude towards people. Room price abit overrated for what it was.
