Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Perfect location for access to football. Also close to eateries. I can't remember her name, but the receptionist was very friendly, and cheerful, was a great help with a problem I had with the TV

New ZealandWhile my overall experience was positive, there are a few areas where improvements would enhance the stay for business travellers: WiFi reliability – It took two nights and a couple of phone calls to resolve connectivity issues, which were eventually fixed by connecting me to another room’s WiFi. Once sorted, there were no further problems. Ensuring a smoother resolution process would be very helpful for guests working on tight schedules. Staff support with WiFi troubleshooting – The issue could likely have been resolved in a single call with more familiarity or guidance on connection troubleshooting. Additional staff training in this area may improve guest experience. Lighting above dining table – The light above the dining table was not working during my stay, and even after notifying staff, it was not replaced. Adequate lighting in this area would make it much easier to use the space as a work station. Swipe card return outside reception hours – Returning the swipe card before 6 a.m. required multiple steps, including re-entering secure areas and walking through quiet spaces alone. As a solo female traveller, this felt a little unsafe. A secure key return box located near the carpark exit would provide a safer and more convenient option.
The location was excellent, with Coles and a variety of eateries conveniently located downstairs, as well as easy access to Southbank and public transport. The apartment itself was spacious, well-equipped with cooking facilities, and included secure parking, a pool, and a gym (basic but sufficient). The view from my room was a bonus. Overall, the combination of amenities and convenience provided significant savings in both time and comfort, making it very well-suited for a weeklong work trip.

AustraliaEverything was fine, accomodation in Bris is just getting more and more expensive.
It was fine for our requirements, basic accom for 1 night with a big comfortable bed, close to the venue we were visiting. Handy parking downstairs, convienient shops, cafe, restaurant near by.

AustraliaThe reception process was a disaster and when tried to check in I was told that I already had checked in showing me someone else's signature on the reception slip. Then telling me that there wasn't any other rooms available. The receptionist went to see this other guest and sorted it out after a frustrating 30 minute delay and I eventually got into my designated room.
the location was right next to where I needed to be, room was functional and clean

AustraliaWell, the room is small which cannot be changed though the price should reflect this. Due to the location of the room there was no view.
Pleasant rooms recently refurbished and looked modern and welcoming. All facilities/utilities there for either a short or long stay. Location to supermarket, hospital, transport and the Gabba Stadium excellent. A short walk to Southbank.

AustraliaThe kitchen needed more crockery. There were no small bowls. There was maintenance working happening around the building which I didn't know about. On my first morning a workman just appeared on my balcony & was there each day for hours. I think I should have been advised about this beforehand. Lastly, the t.v. was difficult to operate & we had issues with the remotes. We needed simple instructions as this was frustrating.
The location is very central & having the shopping centre underneath is super convenient. The apartment was spacious.

AustraliaThe room was old and the walls had marks and small holes on them. The complex as a whole is looking run down. The hallway on level 2 stunk! We were holding our breath from the moment we left our room until we got to the elevator.
Convenient location and having a Cole’s downstairs is handy. Good cafes downstairs is also a bonus.

AustraliaIt was a little noisy (traffic noise), but coming from a rural residence this was probably always likely! Another seat or two in the lounge would be useful too - but definitely not a deal breaker.
The location was outstanding for our needs. Supermarket and food options close by. Transport is also very easy and on the doorstep (well not literally, but very close!). The receptionists were very helpful. The indoor pool lots better than the outdoor pool too! Rooms are well set up and well equipped.
