Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe staff member ( male ) was a little abrupt when spoken to. The office is attended too late in the morning to beg for milk. The room should be supplied with milk if you are providing tea and coffee. Toaster and microwave provided but once again, need to wait til 8.30am for someone in the office to provide plates and cutlery. Just leave it in the cupboard for patrons to use at 6am if they want it. No designated parking per room. Room was right beside main road. Extremely noisy. Neighbour was allowed to have their dog in the room but was up every 2 hours to take the dog out for a pee. If the patrons who travel with dogs , they should be allocated a room away from others to minimise disturbance.
A last minute booking was accommodated

AustraliaThere was no milk for morning coffee, but there was coiffee and cups, when we went up to reception at 'opening time' no one was there, no one answer the phone when we rang. We went up a few times before checkout time and didn't get hold of anyone so we had to leave without getting a coffee. It's not major but it sucked. The hole in the window shade was big enough for someone to see through. The bed was comfortable but kept moving, wheels on tiles.
There was a spa in the bathroom and a TV in there too. I'm glad when he took the deposit he didn't charge us for the broken switch, missing smoke alarm, hole in the wall and broken window shade panels. But for 250 a night, the room wasn't really worth the money.

United KingdomThe grounds around were unkempt. We were the only room occupied and there was a full motel next to this one and a full one across the road. The person on reception was a bit strange and told my wife to read the information in the room when she went to ask about plates and cutlery. It came across as a failing business.
The room was ok and we could park near our room. It was not to far to walk into the centre of Port McQuarrie.

AustraliaThe price for the pet fee was $80 for two nights on-top of the $534 I was charged for two nights also a fee of $200 was taking from my card as a deposit and only found out today after checkout that it would take up to 7 to 10 business days to go back in my account which I was not told when I payed deposit
It's was great we could have the dog there which really is a good idea considering so many people travel with their pets but it cost a bit to much as it was $80 on top of room price I thought it came with the booking but got sprung on with the $80 pet fee.

AustraliaRoom wasn't quite ready at 3pm, staff had mentioned they had fired someone that day. No towels in room had to ask, also zero cutlery provided. The outdoor area was messy, like grass way overgrown not mown for quite some time, couldn't find the bbq area, We could see the top rooms had lovely outdoor furniture but next row of rooms had 3 random old chairs to sit on between all rooms. Yard messy in general. Watched another guest clean leaves out of the pool herself. No pool loungers, just 3 old broken chairs to sit on.
The room/beds were comfortable and location was good, the actual pool was clean. Room had fridge microwave, kettle and toaster

AustraliaIt was really quite expensive for one room and a small ensuite. The floor was wet and it smelt like disinfectant when we arrived. It already cost $330 for one night when I booked it and then I had to pay an extra $40 to have my cat there, despite the fact I booked it as a pet friendly space from the start. There was only a half roll of toilet paper and no spares. There was no milk in the fridge. Outside our cabin looked like a laundry (bags of dirty laundry everywhere) and doonas on the line, there was trash piled up in the skip and the various car parks underneath apartments looked like construction sites with mattresses and junk all over the place. It was quite gross. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin at an NRMA park in Forster on the way up to Brisbane which was cheaper, cleaner, much larger, pet friendly and had better service.
Location and pet friendly.

AustraliaThe grounds were in a terrible state of disrepair with very long grass and the bathroom tap was so loose as to be almost unusable. There is also not enough parking and we were obliged to leave our car on the next door property.
The room was clean, the sheets were good and the shower head was new.

AustraliaThe staff were less than helpful. The room that was advertised as being accessible was not. I was told this was my fault for booking via booking.com rather than calling them directly to discuss. The staff member wasn’t friendly and didn’t offer any solutions. When I asked he agreed to pay extra for a room upgrade. The accessible bathroom in the room that we paid extra for what poorly maintained.
Affordable.

AustraliaThere was something greasy all over the verandah where we had to walk into our room, our parking was just passable as we were told to park along the verandah in front of our room but when we came back we didn't fit and then it made it hard for cars to pass and we couldn't get into one side of our car. We had the tiniest bit of toilet paper and had to end up getting our own cause there was no spare. Yes to jug and toaster but nothing to use with it eg cups plates cutlery.
It was spacious, nice verandah that we could open for the airflow but no chocks, even the front door wouldn't stay open. We loved being able to have our dogs. It was very quiet considering the location

AustraliaThe front legs of the couch (in room 17) were not connected to the couch. My husband sat on it and the leg on the opposite side fell to the floor, checking the other leg proved a similar issue, very dangerous. Left with only dining table chairs to sit on after a long drive, unsatisfactory!
It was close to the highway, the shower was good.
