The climb up and down the stairs proved challenging at night and in the rain and we had to be very careful of our footing. For older individuals (we were all in our 50s) this could prove quite hazardous. Having said that, the climb was worth it for the view!

We travelled to Emerald from Central Victoria to perform at the Hills Ukulele Festival. As a 'band' we found the accomodation perfect for our needs... with a separate bed for all members and a lovely living area to rehearse in. It was warm, comfortable, easy to locate and perfectly located to the venue we were performing at. The scenic view of the Lake could be seen from the living area and both bedrooms was... and was absolutely beautiful. The climb up the stairs to our 2nd floor accomodation proved a little challenging in the rain at night, but we managed, and it was worth it for the view! The food made available to us was an added bonus and greatly appreciated. Fresh fruit, milk, bread, bacon & eggs, breakfast juice and cerial, coffee, an assortment of teas and butter. There were even ice trays and freezer blocks available.

There was nothing we didn't like. I think the host has spent the time to think through everything that is needed for a pleasant stay. And if anything may have been missing, the hosts were ready to help out. However, we got/had everything we needed.

The hosts were lovely, and great at communication even prior to our stay. The accommodation was cosy and clean which means the world to me! We received some breaky items and a bowl of fruit which was wonderful. Everyone has enjoyed themselves, the location is quiet, there is a small lake across the quiet road, a picnic space and a swing. It's the perfect weekend getaway.

The house was quite stuffy and might need some decluttering. But overall it is homey and comfortable.

We was provided with plenty of kitchen tools enough for more than 5 people. Bathroom are clean and tidy. The place located on a beautiful spot that looks over a lake. Beautiful front garden and sitting areas to enjoy our included breakfast.

Unfortunately the beds were too hard for us. Mattress toppers would have been appreciated to allow comfort for all types. The chairs in the lounge room were the most uncomfortable to sit in that we ended up going to bed early. TV (free to air) and Netflix also didn’t work during our stay.

Great property, lots of space and super clean. An abundance of breakfast provisions with plenty of choices.

Amazing location, so peaceful and quiet. The gardens are wonderful to explore and the accommodation is so clean and beautifully decorated. The owners take a lot of pride in this space. Everything was provided, including plenty of breakfast food and fresh eggs straight from the chickens in the backyard. We enjoyed every minute.

Very comfortable spacious accom overlooking a beautiful garden. In the morning we had breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake and garden. Very comfy bed, quality fittings and products. Lovely helpful hosts - thanks Lyn and Joe. Highly recommend the accom and hope to come again. We enjoyed the PAVED festival, the colourful market and vibrant town of Emerald.

At the lower level, sound proofing is not too good and can hear conservation from upstairs (not that host's fault though)

This was probably one of the best accommodations we ever had. It is an idyllic location with lots of trees and flowers surrounding the house. The house is tastefully decorated and has a cozy flair. The lighting inside is also amazing and creates a warm atmosphere. The hosts were very friendly and provided us with fresh eggs, bacon, fruits and much more for breakfast. Unfortunately we have only stayed for two nights but would love to come back another time and stay longer to enjoy this awesome place.

The step going into the shower and the bathroom was small just trying to fit everything into a small space. Plus, the stairs when entering and exiting the kitchen, had to duck being a taller person.

The bed, had a good night sleep even with the electric blankets on. Plus, there were goodies in the fridge which I didn’t have.

The small living, dining area and well-equipped kitchen was beautifully furnished and decorated (red-themed at Christmas time, even the kitchen had red colour flowing through with the theme). Second bedroom at the back of the apartment was beautifully furnished too with an antique feel. Spacious master bedroom and bathroom. Bathroom had everything that one could need too. Very clean and comfortable stay. Tiered garden with multiple seating areas including a swing sofa.

The apartment was beautifully decorated with a very cosy atmosphere. Very quirky and creatively set out. It was well located and easily accessible. There was lovely fresh food provided by the host for breakfast and great cooking facilities. The outdoor space was very inviting.

Everything was excellent, except in lower level apartment you can hear walking and dogs running etc above. There was no noise after 10pm though which is great. Our little one goes to bed at 7pm but seemed to be able to sleep ok with white noise.

Hosts were very nice. The property was well styled and clean in a good location. Also they provided toys, bath and high chair for my little one as well as a cot.
