Back verandah was great for afternoon sun to sit and play cards with kids however not recommended if allergic or scared of bees. A few close calls but not a huge issue and would still stay again. Possible hive close by?

Great location, walking distance to scenic world, 3 sisters and the like. Beds were super comfortable. Felt very at home. Clean and tidy. Owners were friendly and accommodating.

The homeliest house we have experience in our 2.5 months of travel! Clean, well equipped, comfortable beds (and heated blanket for the colder nights!) Amazing location to explore the area, minutes away from the three sisters and scenic world (perfect for watching sunrise over the mountains!) Lovely, friendly hosts! Would definitely stay again!

WiFi a bit slow but could be a location issue.

The location was very good. The driveway is a little steep at the beginning, so you need to be careful if you have mobility issues. Lovely garden.

I was somewhat surprised that the second bedroom had no closet or anywhere to hang up cloths - very unusual. Plus no mirrors in either bedroom.

Only minor suggestions are to have a coffee table/nest-of-tables in the lounge area for cups of tea etc, and a reading lamp for the lounge as well.

Kitchen was very well stocked with fundamentals. Cleanliness was exceptional. House was bright during the day with curtains open, and good air flow with both doors open.

MAYVIEW is perfect! Excellent accommodation. Comfort, cleanliness, facilities, location, all five star! I highly recommend this property. I have to mention the beds, it's toooo cosy and comfortable, hard to get myself going ;) Thank you Mayview, this will be our ""home" in Blue Mountains.

Everything! So beautifully furnished, it has everything you need, the beds were so comfortable and the spa bath was awesome. Also the backyard was fully fenced so our little dogs could play safely all day.

I absolutely loved Mayview. I sent a message to the host that we might be arriving earlier than the check in time, and if it was ok for us to put our bags somewhere. They responded quickly, and that we were welcome to. Mayview is in an excellent location, less than 5mins drive away from Scenic World, and less than drive away from the little area where the shops are at. It was still a little cold when we were there 3rd December, so the home was nice and chilly in the evening, and the heated blankets were a godsend! There isn't air-conditioning in the bedrooms, but it wasn't a big deal for us, as it was cool in the evenings. I am not sure how the temperature is like during the summer months, but I think they might have fans in the bedrooms? There is air-conditioning in the living/dining room. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with basic seasonings for cooking, coffee and tea for drinks. It took a while for us to figure out how to unlock and lock the door, but all was good once we got the hang of it. My kids and I had such a lovely time with the boardgames. The one night we had there was too short.. I wished I planned for a longer stay at Katoomba and Mayview. 🥹 The hosts were also amazing. So easy to communicate with and ready to help.

Not too much. But some appliances like portable fans and heaters could be kept in a more orderly way. We absolutely dislike Clutter. Also, more storage space in bedrooms would be appreciated.

Very little to not like. For the sake of finding 'something' - the TV setup could be a little better. Apple TV is tricky and the soundbar is a bit MacGuyver if you know what i mean. The fans in the bathrooms could use an update/replacement to something more powerful.

The house is absolutely lovely. Very well appointed. cutlery, crockery, cooking implements, tea and coffee - even some bikkies. the beds were like sleeping on clouds. So incredibly comfortable. AND CLEAN! felt absolutely relaxed and at home. Location is second to none.

We have stayed in a lot of nice but rather impersonal accommodation on our trip but this felt like a proper Australian home. A characterful cottage in a very convenient setting close to the centre of Katoomba and to Echo Point but quiet and peaceful. Lovely comfy beds. Great balcony - perfect spot for sundowners.
