Nothing really. I chose it because it was just what I was looking for.

It was private, very well presented, beautiful location. Lovely decor, very comfortable bed, lots of pillows and soft big blankets too. Lots of towels, robes and slippers. Great fireplace, very comfy couch with jigsaw, cards, books and dvds plus great wifi and a big tv. The breakfast hamper was sumptuous , topped off with fresh crosissants delivered each morning. It was a perfect getaway!!

Perfect serenity experience and the entire package we purchased was exceeded above and beyond what we expected. The staff, the home produce, wine & atmosphere....view, birds & everything else in between. Best fresh produce meals we have ever experienced.

only critique if I had to find one would be the couch is a little small & isn't the most comfy to snuggle on, but have to work within the space so completely understand it.

Beautiful location & view, the breaky & dinner hampers were amazing, so fresh & beautifully prepared for you to cook up as needed.. loved the whole experience.... owners went beyond to make sure you had everything you needed & quick to respond to any questions. Beautiful nature. View from cottage is amazing and very private with peaceful surroundings. Food was outstanding with a mix of homemade products and locally sourced products. Cottage is very well decorated with attention to details. Property is very well looked after.

Beautiful cottage set amongst the trees with views through to the lake.Loved being woken by the cacophony of bird calls.Warm croissants delivered for breakfast daily as well as a fridge stocked with other fresh breakfast items .BBQ beef hamper was delicious.Not cheap but well worth it !!

There is nothing I didn't enjoy about this property.

We loved this property so much that this is our second stay here. We have stayed in the Gatsby and the Savoy cabins and both were beautiful with a magic view across the tree canopy to the dam below. Very well appointed, with everything you would need for a great romantic getaway including a log fireplace. Ample bbq breakfast hamper is supplied with freshly warmed croissants delivered to your door each morning. Very private and secluded. Loved the wildlife that came to visit our balcony. Great location, only minutes from the centre of Montville. Thanks Shell and Tony for a wonderful stay.

I think the one thing that was a pain was that the house didn’t have any space keep our clothes. There’s a small space inside the cupboard by the bed but it’s not enough for two people and there’s no lighting in the cupboard to see at night. It’s better to have shelves inside the cupboard for day to day clothes.

Scenic houses with great privacy and exclusivity. We enjoyed the views of the lake and being surrounded by beautiful trees on all sides. We got particularly fond of the fire place that we used every night !!

I could not fault anything.

Nothing was too hard for the hosts and they were always available to assist. Amazing location and the little touches made it even better. Breakfast was scrumptious with so much to choose from.

The BBQ was out of gas but we ended up using the kitchen stove top to cook.

Beautiful cabin, fireplace and bathtub were excellent. They supplied an excellent breakfast with fresh croissants, lots of firewood and everything we could need in the kitchen. Super friendly person at check in. Lots of privacy from the other cottages. The view was amazing.

The Savoy Cottage amongst the trees was the perfect place and location to celebrate our 47th anniversary and had everything we needed. There was a delicious ample breakfast hamper and homemade bread loaf, baked by Shell, provided. Each morning warm croissants were left for us. In addition to the incredible view, the beautifully styled cottage was packed with touches of luxury. Thankyou Shell for making us feel so welcome and ensuring we had privacy. We highly recommend Misty View Cottages, Montville.
