There was nothing to not like, this accommodation is fabulous. Everything about Oyster Cove Chalets is fantastic, from being greeted on arrival to the easy checkout.

Loved the location, right in the middle of trees with animals everywhere and so peaceful. Comfy beds, clean studio units that are so relaxing and comfortable. If you're in need of a break with nothing disturbing you, Oyster Cove chalets is the place to stay.

Curiously there was no Cooktop available other than a new Gas BBQ on the verandah. Phone and WiFi reception here is almost non-existent.

A modern facility set in Bushland on a large block. Our Studio was one of two that face the access road with about 70 metres of Bush garden in front (complete with wildlife), other rooms have closer bush views. The studio is a reasonably sized room with a Queen bed and Sofa, Dinning table for two and a kitchenette (approx 2 x 3m). The main room has reverse cycle air conditioning which worked well. The bathroom is large (est 3x3 m) with quality linen and toiletries supplied. The shower is over the Spa Bath (non operating due to water shortages) without a surround or curtain. Hot water was plentiful. A Homemade treat was on the bed as a welcoming touch. All fixtures and fitting were first class including a Pod style coffee maker. Due to the isolated location, the hosts have provided a range of Mini-bar type supplies for guests to purchase at very reasonable (near cost) prices. The hosts were onsite, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We would have liked to stay longer.

Nothing very much. For light sleepers, the water pump kept operating about every 10 minutes during the night even when no-one was using the water. It kept waking us up.

The apartment was clean and cosy with everything that we required.

Car parking under trees dropping sap onto paintwork. Description says stovetop in kitchenette, there isn't. BBQ rusty and worn out. Maintenance and presentation of surrounds needs some work.

Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Location quiet.

The kitchenette was lacking it would have been good to have decent knives and bread knife It wasn't clear when booking that a breakfast basket was extra.

Bathroom gets quite wet from showering as there was no screens/curtains in Unit 3. You also need to climb into a spa bath to shower which I found quite disconcerting. However, I believe Annie and Guy supply you with a stool as per previous reviews.

Clean and comfortable accommodation in a serene bush setting with the waterfront a 15 minute walk down the road. The kitchenette is quite well stocked and you have a bbq on your verandah and table and chairs to enjoy the wildlife. The corner store is very good and has a great selection of food at reasonable prices. Annie greeted us on arrival and Guy on departure which was a nice touch. Annie also makes chocolates for purchase and you receive a sample chocolate placed on your bed when you checkin.

Banging and crashing noise from guests in adjoining room late at night - wall allowed passage of this noise. Unit close to unkempt bush. This was the 'view'. Verandah roof had some sheets which were supposed to let light through - however they were covered with leaves, so unit was rather dark. Two of the four units face the other way and don't have this problem. Hence I recommend that if booking, you ask for one of them. Our unit had a large bathroom, set up to be for disabled persons. That was fine, however there was a short stretch of sloping floor leading from the bed-room to this bathroom and I tripped on it repeatedly. No falls though!

The fellow that owned the premises I backed into a pole on his veranda accidentally but his attitude towards me telling me straight away you better have insurance which I dealt with it straight away in a very quick process with my insurance then he proceeded to ask for my drivers license after I had given him proof of my insurance claim and I told him that he didn’t need that my insurance was dealing with it so I didn’t have to deal with him and he didn’t have to deal with me it was just a pine support pole but he made such a big deal of it so if feel he has no idea of customer relations

it was clean and some nice personal touches but owner needs how to learn customer relations sadly lacking

First night BBQ had no gas. BBQ changed to another. Second time ran out of gas part way through cooking. Lay out of studio not great. Not enough kitchen utensils considering only a BBQ and microwave. Shower over a large spa tub, so would not be great for little ones or people with mobility issues. Not close to any cafes or restaurants.

Location quiet and peaceful yet quite close to Hobart Bed really comfy. Good wifi. Close to Bruny ferry Presentation of studio really nice and Annie leaves two yummy home made choccies on the bed. Guy and Annie very approachable and helpful.
