Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaSome of the products needed fixing and maintenance like the curtains. No big issue though as it was a quick fix by the fruendly staff. Also there was no room service phone.
The room and facilities were great. It was spacious and warm and clean and cozy

AustraliaUnfortunately breakfast was underwhelming. I understand staffing issues prevent many places from offering extra service. Food ordinary. Gluten free was available
The toom was to die for. super fluffy towels were wonderful. Great suggestions for walks, village shops and restaurants

AustraliaOur room no 7 had a wheelchair accessible bathroom - not sure if they are all like that, but we didn’t need a bathroom with those features and would have preferred a standard bathroom. Booked this place thinking the ‘fireplace’ were wood burning. turns out they are just plug in fake electric fireplaces (not quite what we were looking for) the included breakfast was a little disappointing.
Large, spacious cabins. Very quiet. nice spa bath. complementary wine and chocolates

AustraliaThe driveway was incredibly long. We booked thinking it was only 1km away from Witches Falls winery and 400m from all the restaurants on Main St and that we'd be able to walk there. But the driveway on it's own was 1km and not safe to walk on especially after dusk as there was no lighting which meant we had to drive everywhere rather than walk and enjoy a drink together. There wasn't much other then lodge and the room to explore. There were no lookouts or expanse of grounds that we felt we could walk around and explore. Again not a deal breaker because the room was really lovely.
The room was beautiful, spacious and clean. The heater was very efficient. Breakfast was good and very plentiful. The fireplace in the lodge was fabulous and setting was picturesque. The service was lovely as well and all the staff we spoke to seemed really helpful and happy.

AustraliaProbably the only thing we could pick on would be the lack of real fire place. But considering in the middle of the rainforest, makes sense.
Loved the ambiance, so quiet, peaceful and the clean, fresh air. The room was cosy and huge which was amazing. Absolutely loved the balcony and huge windows!! Bed is super generous size and comfortable! The breakfast food was very generous in size, staff were very helpful and willing to go the extra for us which was wonderful.

AustraliaWe had expected to see some wild life in the forest, but saw none even though we spent a whole day in the room. One suggestion:- the toilet paper was only 1 ply - not exactly in keeping with the other facilities.
We enjoyed the breakfast. We loved the Rainforest setting and the fact that the Tree Houses were private.

AustraliaIf you like a firm bed you would be more than happy but slightly to hard for my liking.
Amazing location only minutes from the Gold Coast, nothing but the wind blowing through the trees and the sound of the birds. Having the breakfast in our room was an incredible touch, this truly is one of the most peaceful locations you could find.

AustraliaThe breakfasts are substandard. Two simple offerings on alternate days is totally inadequate and unprofessional. All the tables need to set before guests arrive for breakfast. This would give an immediate quality feel to the room. Paying extra for breakfast items is not professional. All available food should be readily available to choose from. A quality coffee machine would bring the offering to a more modern and acceptable standard. Glasses are required for drinking juice, water etc. There are more than enough staff around, at breakfast, to attend to any wants or needs and to ensure that the supply of food is maintained - maybe even assist with making toast. One toaster is insufficient for twenty guests. With a maximum of twenty guests breakfast should be an enjoyable time for staff and guests to mix. Closing the lodge so early in the afternoon is unacceptable. It is too late for a snack there and too early to go out for dinner.
The accomodation was splendidly palatial, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The surroundings are ideal and the retreat fits into the forest seamlessly. There is no difficulty in moving from the room to the lodge whatever the weather.

AustraliaThat we only had 2 nights to enjoy it!
Amazing views, wonderful staff and an all round magical place to spend a weekend. Could not recommend this place more. The breakfast baskets on the balcony was one of the nicest touches I’ve seen in a while - encourage wholesome mornings with a coffee and croissant on the balcony, reading to the sounds of wildlife all around. We were also lucky enough to see a few wallabies on our morning walks which was brill.
