I guess for the price we paid we shouldn't complain but we are used to accommodation booked through booking.com being of a higher standard.

The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a laundry for guests. The cabin was fairly cheap.

The mat left at the front door was dirty (hadn’t been changed) and the cabin smelled a bit musty but I think it was from the bathroom, as there was no extraction fan.

Staying on the water was pretty great. Air con was handy as weather got a bit warm. Liked the dedicated park spot. Convenient having a store close by.

Unfortunately, the bed was awful. It was one of those old style mattress with no pillow top so you could feel the springs in the mattress. Not great for a sensitive sleeper. Mattresses are the most important item of my accommodation.

While the location was OK only a 10 min drive, I would stay in town next time I loved that I had somewhere to prepare a meal and the shower was great. Onsite parking was good

The beds could use a topper as we could feel the springs. The cabin was clean however the bedside drawers were too musty to use, and the wardrobe smelled strongly of mould.

A nice peaceful location, not too far from town. The toilet block was clean and spacious and the park itself was very tidy. The staff were pleasant and the rates were very reasonable.

needs renovating, apart from fridge, aircon, microwave all the other things need upgrading, the unit doesn't look like it has been upgraded for many years, old cupboards and blinds. no soap, hairdryer. new security door which is very good quality, but can't lock when leaving for the day no cook top or even small portable cooktop

The bathroom was very small, it could easily be bigger by slightly reducing the size of the living room.

We didn't like that the TV is not facing the bed, like in other cabin that we had before, in other caravan park. It's nice when you're resting in bed watching TV.

The room was nice and comfy, clean toilets and the location is near to the city proper. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. Over all we had a nice stay.

It is OK that the Caravan Park is pet friendly. However many of the dogs of clients and permanents are always off leash. Some of the dogs can be considered not friendly to other people other than the owners. I informed employees of the caravan park of the situation and I was informed that it is impossible to control some dog owners!!

We had wet clothes we needed to dry. Close by the cabin there were two clothes lines. I hung our things there, only to find later staff had removed the pegs from the clothes…this was a little frustrating to be honest. I was just trying to dry clothes. The only other issue was in the online photos of the property, it shows a small oven in the room. I brought food that needed to be cooked in an oven. It wasn’t until a couple of days after we arrived, I saw that the microwave was actually also an oven! The staff I spoke to initially, just said they were sorry about there being no oven. They actually didn’t know what was in the room. It would have changed things for us if on that initial chat with staff, they had known about the combo oven and told me. These are not big things, more frustrations.

The location is ideal and we enjoyed our accommodation a lot. There was pretty much everything in the cabin that we needed.

The showers in the cabins were very small. I am a larger person so couldn’t really move around when showering but that is more of a me issue!🤷‍♂️
