I liked the location as the trams were out the front and I could leave the car behind. The internet was awesome never had any trouble streaming movies. The staff were very helpful and very friendly made us feel very welcomed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. In walking distance to Pacific Fair and the beach. Even though the trams were being extended I had no trouble with noise or getting in and out of the area. All you need is your personal belongings so I look forward to being able to stay again.

A bit of construction noise through the day from neighbouring buildings but hey it’s holidays get out and enjoy what the Gold Coast has to offer!

The property was in prime location, easy walk to Pacific Fair, Broadbeach and restaurants in all directions. Parking was great and secure. Apartment roomy and well designed with room and ensuite upstairs, also with balcony and spa- great view at night! Kids loved the pool and the spa was hot which we loved.

As a single person I had trouble leaving. Because there is only one entry and exit, I had to put the rubbish in the bin and then walk around the block to get back in.

A good central location for my purposes. Secure undercover parking. Wifi was excellent.

Good value for money, spacious apartment with good aircon. Wifi in our flat didn’t work the whole time we were there. The carpets in the stairwell need a good wash, really bad smell in the stairwell.

We arrived late at night and some cold water in the fridge would have been great. Only a tiny issue. Didn't go back out as roadworks on the Gold Coast highway were a bit hard to work out.

Location fantastic, room great, undercover car parking, washer and dryer in unit.

Not having a split system in the bedroom and only in the lounge was definitely annoying given the heat and made it hard to sleep. There was also substantial roadworks and construction due to the work being completed on the tram line but that is not the hotels fault. The temperature of the pool was very warm and did not help to cool you down at all which was a bit frustrating at night time.

Location was great for Broadbeach and access to the convention center which was the main reason we went. The accommodation managers were lovely and provided fantastic customer service. Having access to an actual kitchen was also great as it saved us money on meals and if you have children with food sensory issues I can see this being a great benefit as the shopping center with everything you need is only a 15 minute walk away.

There’s a lot of stairs and no lifts..

The location was fantastic and the car parking was easy and cars are locked away and safe. You can walk quite easy to plenty of places to eat and shop..

General was a good apartment. Please change pillows every month. Pillow covers were clean, and work on your shower rose.

Pillow were smelling cigarettes. I think they were too old. I couldn't sleep properly until I bought new ones the following day

Location was excellent..close to everything. On check out we left the building at 6am for our early flight and forgot important medicine in the fridge ...no longer having the key Michael the office manager was quick to meet us back in the apartment to let us back in to get our medicine and we've made it to airport on time. Big thanks to Michael!!

I enjoyed my stay at Portobello Resort Apartments. The accomodation was very comfortable, clean and private. Dorelle and Marty are very approachable and happy to help. Particularly good communication which made checking in out of hrs easy. Would definitely stay here again.

The construction made access difficult at times and created noise during the day. Tolerable, but would have been better without.

The full kitchen, the open communication with the managers, their kindness. In suit laundry. Access to Kurrawa beach. Access to the train, low cost of transit.

I think the carpet had been cleaned just before I got there but didn’t get the chance to fully dry so unfortunately my feet would get super dirty at the end of the day. The couch sunk in a bit. Also the roadwork makes it difficult to access the property (which understandably isn’t their fault).

Doreen was super helpful and communicated the information that I needed to check in. The living space was functional and great, was able to cook and watch YouTube/Netflix as I wished. The bed was super comfy and firm. Also allocated parking is so useful.

Not the properties fault but all the building and road works were a nightmare Waking up to jack hammers and heavy construction at 6am made it hard Been waiting for holiday with peace and quiet for ages
