The beds were a little uncomfortable and we were meant to get two twin beds for our children but we didn't. Luckily our children slept just fine. We would have loved on site dryers as washing our towels and getting them dried proved to be hard with the tropical weather

We have stayed at this resort 5 times over the last 20 years and we still love coming, unfortunately now due to so many villas being permanent residents, its lost some of its holiday feel. the restaurant isn't open enough, no breakfast options.

the pool was fantastic, the whole family enjoyed it. the villa's are a great size, especially being over 2 levels. the bar at the pool was great

Didn't seem to ever be a lot of staff on duty, for that reason mainly we never tried the resort restaurant . It also seemed to be closed at odd times? Perhaps a staffing issue?

One of our party uses gym equipment daily and she was disappointed in the somewhat run down condition of the gym and equipment generally. Minor point really in view of the tough times the resorts in the area have experienced for the year so far. Other facilities were found in the town.

Resort was still recovering from the devastating floods which occurred earlier in the year and all but isolated Port Douglas due to the closure of roads. The gym was somewhat run down and there were no dining facilities as the kitchen has been closed since re-opening the accommodation. Nevertheless, our stay was totally enjoyable mainly down to the excellent service and attitude of Jodi who could not have been more help.

The resort is well situated, with a short drive from the main street of Port Douglas. The facilities were very good and I believe value for money.

the fact that it was an issue getting 'early check in' as we had a wedding to attend at 3pm. 99% Of other hotels check in is 2pm. this hotel was 3pm check in. . this was extremely stressful and inconvenient for us. rushing to check in and rushing to not miss the wedding.

The biggest disappointment especially for the kids was the patchy wifi internet connection because of which we had to rely on mobile data all the time. This also restricted usage of apps on the TV installed in one of the upstairs bedroom. The TV in the living room was an outdated one and reception to the free to air channels were poor. My family is allergic to dust and it was pretty evident the villa needed a deep clean and an upgrade.

The biggest highlight was the location as it was very close to town and beaches. The pool was awesome and the kids loved it. Staff was friendly and ready to assist at all times.

We were disappointed our kitchen didn't have an oven, we had a couple of meals in our room to save on costs, and lucky for us we were with friends who room did have one. The 2nd pool and bbq are was also a downer for us. We were looking forward to a BBQ and drinks by the pool but only 1 bbq worked and when sharing with so many other people it was very frustrating. The area also closes at 8pm. Apparently most of the apartments are residential and they complain of noise. My husband and his friend where finishing off beers and packing up the bbq stuff when the lights all suddenly turned off. They were then approached by 3 of the residents to vacate the area right on 8pm. The main pool is open till 9pm, but you can't get any food from the restaurant after about 4pm. Would have been nice not to have to go into town all the time for meals out. Some ideas, Maybe the bbq areas should be moved to the main pool to get better use and avoid conflict with the residents. Also having dinner options at the resort would be great too.

We loved pool number 1 it was huge! It was a lovely temp and the pool lounges were very comfy. The kids loved the spa cave. Having self contained apartments was good with 2 bathrooms, washer dryer and kitchen it was great to be able to cook at home if we wanted. Apartments were spacious.

Cleanliness around some areas was poor. Facilities were not as stated. The kitchen equipment poor, and standard provisions were very inadequate for 4 people. Fridge interior broken shelves. Very dirty around window & doors. Slider door out to Patio, which was also very dirty, was VERY difficult to open due clogging up of dirt in tracks.

Understaffed at dinner!! But the girl working then was AMAZING 🤩

The room was fine. Could do with some maintenance to showers. Kids loved the pool, as did I. One poor girl working the restaurant needed another staff member to help with service. She was doing 3 people’s jobs and customers ended up helping her. Management need to look at this and also give that girl a big bonus!!!!
