Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TaiwanThe room size, in particular the restroom were slightly small. The reception area was nice, but the corridors slightly outdated and dark. I was told that my security deposit would be returned the same day as checkout. But I am still waiting for it a week later.
I stayed here around one week and I was a solo traveller. The room, facilities, and location were good for what I needed. The front desk staff were helpful and able to answer all questions. It's about a 30 minute walk to the Sydney Opera House.

AustraliaAccessibility- elevator stopped working, plus no direct access from elevator to room on my floor- issue when travelling solo with multiple heavy luggage/ bags. But the staff member on duty at check in helped with these. However, no help on check out.
Staff were really welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Great location. Good rooms. Very pleased with the staff - particularly allowing us to have a late check out.

AustraliaThe room and hallways were pretty shabby and was a disappointment compared to pictures. The room was clean but poor workmanship and fittings (rusty shower frame etc) was a let down. Fridge was so noisy I just turned it off - pretty pointless in a room that small when there's nothing in it anyway. Nowhere to hang clothes, you wouldn't want to be here too long and best for only 1 person for micro room. Windows were so dirty on outside I could barely see out - but prob for the best because direct looking in from street and no sheers for when dressing etc.
The best things about Veriu Central are the location, the lounge where you can work and meet people, and the super friendly and helpful staff. I felt like I really belonged there after only 3 days. The bed was very comfortable, the shower pressure good, the room even on 1st floor close to street quieter than expected, and the aircon worked well. Having tea and coffee for the morning even in micro room was nice. Wifi worked without issue.

AustraliaNeeded a deep clean. Shower was pretty dirty and had fungus gnats hanging around. Poor ventilation in the bathroom and the fan was useless. Also no face washers/flannels, and the shower was out of body wash. Bed was comfortable, but only 2 singles pushed together, covered by a sheet, so we slipped around quite a bit.
Nice, contemporary furnishings and plenty of room despite it having a small layout.

United KingdomThe outside door to the balcony didn't lock unless you used a chain. Also, it let in a draught at night. Felt the cleaning could also be better as our room looked like it wasn't hoovered. Also, I asked for body wash to be refilled, and it wasn't.
The staff were really accommodating and friendly and went out their way to help you. Happy hour was a nice touch. The location is very good.

New ZealandWhen we arrived we were given a room key that wouldn’t work we had to visit reception twice to get this sorted then when the staff used their master key to get us in the room the room was already occupied which was embarrassing for all involved. The room we were in wasn’t throughly cleaned and we also had an issue with our TV where it wouldn’t turn off we told reception about it and asked for it be fixed while we were out but when we arrived back close to midnight it hadn’t even been looked so we had to go back down to reception to ask again which was frustrating.
The location was great and the bed was comfortable

Singapore1. For some reason, my entire room/ side of the building is a bit tilted to one side making it a bit like a downslope from one end of the room to the other. When I realised it I was a bit worried but I guess it's the way the building is built? 2. Room is indeed really small, a bit unexpectedly small, especially the toilet and sink area. Not able to wash my face using the sink without either hitting my head on the shelf above or wetting the toilet floor. Book a bigger room if you are really tall! 3. The entire building is in a triangular formation, so certain room windows are facing towards the adjacent corridor 4. Steps within the floor to reach certain rooms, not very good if you have a lot of luggages. 5. Sound insulation is bad and floorboard keep creaking.
1. Within 5 to 7 mins walk from Museum Station or 10 mins walk from Central, which is directly connected to the airport line 2. Walkable to city centre and Chinatown, lots of food options 3. The blackout curtains in the room are amazing, esp for a light sleeper 4. Comfy bed 5. 10% off Chinese restaurant and cafe next door 6. Really friendly and helpful staff, always greeting you with a smile or waving of hands!
