Unique experience, we loved the quirky throwback vibes of the Queen Mary carriage. The decor and furnishings were comforting and very well thought out. Our young kids loved it, and were sad to leave! They loved seeing the cows and goats each day.

Everything! Decoration, details, comfort, location, it’s so cool to sleep in a 100y old train and to top it all up Ash and her husband are the nicest people! We were celebrating my boyfriend’s 30y birthday and they were just amazing helping arrange a little surprise. If you want a unique stay in the Hunter Valley you have to stay here. I would definitely stay again!!

The train carriage was unique and so beautifully appointed with lots of lovely touches. Elegant design but faithful to the character of the train carriage. The location was wonderful, so quiet but close to the main attractions of the Hunter Valley. The host was wonderful too.

Everything was great. Only feedback would be better security as locking the door was not easy and one exit door did not lock at all.

Beautifully resorted train carriage accommodation in the Queen Mary carriage. Better look and feel to it than other carriages that appeared more like standard hotels on the inside. Amazing communication with the owners, who arranged for a personalised card and complimentary bottle of bubbly for my friend who's 40th birthday was the reason for the trip. beds were very comfortable as well. Heating kept the carriage warm and comfortable considering it was very cold and stormy for the duration of our stay.

Lots to say! Loved the uniqueness of the accommodation, it’s tastefully restored e decorated with the added touch and comforts of modern day luxe. Loved that the Queen Mary carriage had her “own” drive way and garden hedge outlook - such a lovely way to welcome you to the accommodation. Nothing not to like.

The accommodation was perfect - beautifully restored and decorated to a high standard. The location was very peaceful, with kangaroos and the bush for company. The hosts were really great and helped arrange a pick up and drop off for us as we came by train, as well as providing us with a lovely continental breakfast basket and all the essentials like tea, coffee pods and milk. I would thoroughly recommend this for a quiet and different break in the Hunter.

Great location, fantastic facilities and amenities. Quiet and peaceful location. Easy checkin and helpful, responsive staff. There are so many extra touches - festoon lighting, electric blinds and fans that make the stay extra charming and comfortable. The decor is lovely and the bed was excellent.

We had the most incredible experience staying at The Station in Pokolbin to celebrate my birthday—and it turned out to be even more special when my now fiancé proposed during our stay!
