Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

shower over bath, bath was a spa bath and the uneven large bumps under the shower made it very dangerous. No electric blankets

Had a late check in and the Reception was great, with my key available in an after hours lock box, and an upgrade to a King Room which was spacious and had a very nice bathroom. Bed was comfy and plenty of parking. Close to shops and restaurants and pubs.

Off the main street (Springvale Rd) which can be a bit noisy I suggest maybe earplugs for those who are light sleepers. That's my only thing I didn't like.
Fantastic location close to shops etc. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The TV is really big. The bathroom had a shower and bath. There is also a laundry for clients to use. I was pleasantly surprised.

Probably a little dated and bathroom could be cleaned a little better, but for the price of accommodation it was good.
Close to where I needed to be and accommodation comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Bit stained linen but it was clean. Although we had a non smoking room, my neighbour was outside in the balcony smoking so the smell came through to my room which made it hard to sleep with the stench. Also if you are taking the lift bear in mind you still have to carry your bags through a small flight of steps to get to your level.
The room is spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is also not too small, with a shower, and toilet . Nice big TV, and a small area with kettle and fridge. The building is a little old, the room does look a bit dated BUT everything was neat, clean and tidy. There were some old stains on the towels and bedsheets but it was still clean. Walkable distance to Kingsway area which comes alive at night with food and eatery options. Also walking distance to The Glen major shopping center and also Glenwaverly train station. Near the main road as well if you are looking to take the bus. Was a comfortable cost room and it was a nice stay.

Welcome was poor- front line staff should use manners but perhaps I’m old school When showering water was ok but there were surges of scalding hot water which is a safety concern

The beds weren’t very comfortable but everyone has their own preferences, so I’m not too worried.
Clean and well equipped. Well priced. Wonderful staff. Great location. Will definitely look at staying there again next time I’m in Melbourne.

The check in was late around 9:45 PM to 10:00 PM. I found small cockroach on the queen bad and the floor around the bed areas. I could not do anything and we were tired. I had to clean by myself with alcohol spray for the bed and used alcohol wipe for the floor. I hope the cleaning has to be done perfectly for the hotel with 4 stars rating. Thank you
The location is very good because easier to get foods, shopping centre and others.

We stayed for the Nunawading basketball tournament. The hotel was central to all our playing locations, shops, restaurants and amenities that we needed for the weekend
