Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No DVD player was at house even though it advertised that there was. Would be good to have an exhaust fan in the kitchen. Neither of these points would stop me from wanting to book this lovely house again.
The accomodation had almost everything we could've asked for. Excellent location - clean - comfortable - well appointed. Just a lovely cosy cottage.

Location was great! A short walk to the beach and into town:) the cottage was so cosy, clean and tastefully decorated and all the facilities we needed for a long weekend!

The bedrooms only have venetian blinds and the morning sun streams in. Some blockout curtains would be wonderful as no-one wants to wake at sunrise on holidays.
Location is wonderful- near to the park and beach as well as an easy walk into Busselton. The house is very clean and comfortable. Everything you could want is provided.

The single beds aren't great for backs ... kids would be fine. I'm older and had to sleep in one and found it wasn't very supportive. Again, I'm sure kids would snuggle in comfy.
Walk to the beach across an oval. Great location. BIG block so car can be parked around the back. Comfy inside and front porch to sit on and watch the action on the oval. Close to town.

When we arrived on kitchen bench was a plastic bag with a blood stained doonah cover inside and a dirty cleaning cloth. Also all the rules and tasks they expected done such as put bins out on the nature strip, strip bed when vacating. It was not a welcoming feeling.
Location was great nice quiet area.Had everything that you needed.

It’s location was really good, just a two minute walk to the beach. The cottage looks quite ordinary from the outside, but it has been beautifully renovated inside.

The shower did leak out the side of the glass door so there would be a wet floor mat for the next people.
It was a great location, close to the park and a few minutes drive to the jetty. House had everything you needed. Kids loved the house.

It was hard to locate the key lock box. No hand rail on front or back steps. Slippery shower with no hand hold to prevent falls.
Central location. Safe area. Very quiet. Plenty of parking. Large back yard.

We've stayed before and really liked it, but suggest a few improvements- a) the front door was fixed so it closes more easily, b) tv is upgraded to get all stations, c) bathroom floor is improved (perhaps lino?)
Location is fab, as is the sense of being in an 'old cottage'

only thing disappointed in, was No Icebox (freezer) in the fridge, for our Iceblocks for Gin & Tonic.
Lock box was hard to find and difficult to open. After phone call, I found it. Also, Very hard to open when we left property and had to phone office and leave keys in an agreed place.

The shower was a little small if you are a larger size
Very close to the beach. Very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. All the appliances were good quality. Had plenty of space to hang clothes and towels to dry. Also had a wiper to wipe the glass in the shower so it didn't speckle.
