United KingdomBreakfast plate - it looked like it had been sat out a while (the cheese was a bit sweaty) Staff were quite pushy about payment. I checked that I could pay by card beforehand and they said I could. Then when I turned up the card machine was ‘broken on Friday and Saturday’. I asked if I could pay it on Monday at check out. They followed me to my room and knocked on on two separate occasions to sort payment. It felt a bit invasive as a solo female traveller.

United KingdomWiFi on and off at top level. Loud noise from industrial size air con units to side of hotel affecting most of the rooms......the hotel really really needs to sort this out!! DO NOT USE THEIR TAXI SERVICE. They charge 2-3 times normal street prices There is something very dodgy about payment at this place. It appears they have been telling customers on arrival to go to cash machines for some time now. 'Our credit card machine is not working' is simply not good enough! And strange messages before arrival about payment were very disconcerting indeed. Wake up West Inn, you are not some cheap hostel!
Smart, quality place. Lovely rooftop bar, very comfortable rooms. Fantastic terraces with views of Flames and Caspian from the two top level superior rooms....book one of these!

Even one morning we were late for our tour since the breakfast was served very late. United Arab EmiratesWi-fi was weak in the evenings, and I wouldn't recommend the place for remote working.
The hotel is brand new (opened in 2023), and I was offered a room upgrade. The location is in the city center, almost everything is within walking distance. The personnel is very nice and helpful too! The old city is very quiet, so the sleep was amazing (though take airplugs if you are not Muslim, as a mosque is located next to the hotel).
