Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PortugalThe card-per-room policy is strange and varies a bit, they should always hand out one card per guest.
If coming for an event in ADEPS it’s the perfect location. It has good facilities and the staff might not be super-nice if they’re overloaded but they’ll always take care of you.

NetherlandsBy no means does this place enter the usual definition of an "auberge", but for the fact that it's a place to sleep. The whole place feels like the locker room of a secondary school or a local gym. It is indeed a sports sleeping facility. The fire-protecting hallways and very heavy doors make it all feel and look like a giant maze, and while it's supposed to be reassuring, it actually feels scary. The ground floor level is actually level 2 on the elevator, but we had to find out on our own; it's not indicated. The lounge area is a table and narrow chairs (a bigger adult does not fit) with a vending machine behind. Access to the parking place is complicated; it's not signalled on the street, so anyone coming by car ends up going round and round the place until spotting an entry. The parking itself is small, and parking on the street is limited to 2 hours with a blue disk. The person who checked us in was tired or in a bad mood, as he could not spare a kind look or a smile, even when we said we had trouble finding them, just spouting his instructions for accessing the room and checkout like a drill sergeant. Fitting, as it is a sports centre. However, nowhere does it say that visitors must be coming for a sports event, and since this is on Booking, it is open to the general public. A kinder welcome would have been nice. He repeated insistently that without exception or delay, we had to be gone before 10 am because they needed the room, as if we did not understand what a checkout time is. I suppose their usual rowdy groups of kids coming to sports events have trouble following instructions. It must be tiring, we get it. We left as soon as possible in the morning, with no regrets about leaving the place.
Spacious rooms and bathroom. Ideal for big groups of people, like a large family or a friend's group, a sports group etc. It's clean and not overly expensive for Brussels. The rooms are furnished with bunk beds, comfortable enough. The bathrooms have stalls, ours had 2 toilets and 3 showers, so no one is queuing to shower. The hallways are large and roomy, so groups with lots of equipment are comfortable. We had no breakfast there. There is a vending machine at the ground level (which is level 2 on the elevator) for any snacks after hours.

LuxembourgThe heather in the room was broken and there were no extra blankets, since it was during winter the room was incredibly cold all night so I did not sleep well. The walls were paper thin and you could hear people from other rooms.
The beds were comfortable and the shower was warm and strong. Everything was very clean.

NetherlandsIt was not like a hotel, it was like a big dormitory facility without service. Rooms were not hot enough and there is nothing as equipment to use in rooms. We could not make a coffee or tea. There was not even a single glass to drink tap water. Entrance of hotel is far away from rooms and there is nobody at back entrance. You are lucky if you can find your room without getting lost in that weird building. When we went to hotel, we felt like if this the right place or not. I absolutely do not recommend.

United StatesI had a 1 night stay at this facility. When I arrived to my room everything was fine, my bed was available and the accomodations were adequate. However upon coming back to my room later I. The evening, beds had been stolen by another group of people. I tried to get in contact with a front desk person, but there was no one available until 7 am the next morning. It was so bad, the front desk person called the police to have the extra people escorted from the premises. I was assured I would get a refund if I started the process through booking.com. this was not a true statement as booking told me they denied the refund. I tried to reach out to the property and remedy this with no resolution. Myself and another guest were affected by this. The other guest is a witness to them saying they would refund. 0/10 recommend.
It was good, till it was bad.
