Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom size a little disappointing. Small windows, no air conditioning, making room stuffy after full day of sun. Out of place, under counter sized fridge in room taking up valuable space making room feel cramped. Despite this we would return and maybe choose a different room.
Beautifully located hotel with ample, free, car parking facilities. Welcoming, helpful staff throughout the hotel, very friendly, wanting to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Large restaurant serving breakfast, overlooking well kept grounds.

Belgium1. Room was incredibly hot (sauna) 2. Main floor only fit the bed (not my luggage) - it was a squeeze 3. Bed mattresses kept falling off frames and, as they were single beds, we kept falling out of the bed - we didn’t sleep much 4. Paid twice price on booking.com as worth for other 3-stars and for quality (noticed other reviewers of this property said same thing). it’s not worth 200 EUR/night 5. Booked because of swimming pool (for kids) as advertised on Booking.com. Swimming Pool and Bowling alley both closed. 6. WiFi didn’t work most of the time we were there. I also saw other reviewers say same thing 8 months back. If WiFi doesn’t work then the property should not advertise WiFi (like the pool!) 7. Rooms are like a hostel which would have been fine were it 50 EUR a night.
The location was great! The staff were nice. The food at the restaurant was good. My kids loved playing in the climbers on the location.

ArubaThere was nothing we did not like. Everything was great. To compliment the hotel even more, perhaps one or two staff members could learn a second language, just so the guests can communicate easyer.
The location and surroundings was the most that i liked from the first glimpse you can get when deescending from the hills. Then arriving in the town and then the beautifull hotel. Very very beautifull. Stunning. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

NetherlandsOne of the staff lady complained that we did not say that we are traveling with a baby (not a nice feeling on the meet, I thought she is going to send us home or give us a fine). Then, the bathroom in the room didn't smell nice, my wife was continuously complaining about it. Finally, not all facilities were functional (swimming pool and bowling out of order).
Area is very beautiful, nice nature. Many playing spaces for kids.

BelgiumThe ventilation was not working in the bathroom (there was no window), the key of the room didn’t work, the phone to call the Reception didn’t work. The room is pretty small and the level of the room is quite down comparative to the window. It feels like you are in a basement.

NetherlandsBreakfast was poor with very limited number of choices, e.g. no salad. The beds are 90cm wide and very uncomfortable to sleep on. The other parts, bathroom and toilet average. The overall condition of the hotel is very poor. Stuff does not speak english.
Location is excellent, 10 minutes walking to the village centre. The parks, nature and the river next to the hotel are amazing.

BelgiumIt should be mentioned in the offer that you get a sleeping room in the attic of the hotel on the top floor. The roof slopes are very low and it looks claustrophobic and weird considering expectations from a hotel of such a rank. I do not know if we would decide to rest over the weekend in the attic for this price. Moreover, it was a two-level space floor with inadequate safety barriers for small children.
Very good location with spacious private parking. Charming, mansion-like hotel on the outside. City park with a fountain walking distance.

GermanyThe outside is very nice (facade, park, river) but on the inside it has a strong (run-down) youth hostel feeling. Paint coming off etc. We paid double the price because the hotel has not listed the family rooms correctly in Booking and staff did nothing to help/sort the situation. We ended up with two rooms for 4 instead of one. Giving us 8 beds! (Family) rooms are tiny - you can hardly walk around the bed. Beds are all single - you can push them together but might fall in between. WIFI did not work which was explained with: yeah, we know about... Sorry. That's it! Service on the terrasce was very poor too. Extremely slow & unfriendly.
The Hotel is very nicely situated.

BelgiumThe food was quite bad bith time we tried: breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was extremely unhealthy and badly prepared. Coffee was nescafe, the fruit juice was obviously not natural but overall the quality of food was bad. Moreover, they gave you the tray like in canteen (due to covid probably) but mainly I had to ask 2-3 times to get yoghurt, cheese or other products with some other guests had. Dinner was also low quality and the potatoes I ordered were rotten in on part… you cannot serve such a thing!
The garden was amazing, the location great as well
