Too cluttered in terms of the decor. But I would still stay at this hotel again as the staff are incredible.

The location is great & the rooms very comfortable. It actually sits on a canal. Everything you could need is provided in the rooms. Although the hotel is a little outdated in style and cluttered- reminds me of 1980s decor - that doesn’t matter as the service is exceptional.

The hotel is outstanding. Also, the room size is excellent and hotel facilities such as lounges and bar are amazing. The hotel has around 27 rooms and my room was with canal view and it was excellent. They have car parking behind the hotel and it is not free & you do not need a car as everything is 2 min walk. The hotel staff were very nice and friendly and provided all needed information and support. They provided a map for the city and marked the most visited places by tourists in Bruges and explained the hotel history and city history. I will definitely come back to Van cleef hotel in my next visit to Bruges.

Fantastic stay at the Hotel Van Cleef. The staff are amazing, they really couldn't be more helpful and the location is brilliant, everything's within walking distance but it's in a quiet part of the city. The outdoor terrace overlooking the river is magical. We had a brilliant time and my children (age 6 and 8) were made to feel really welcome!

The hotel is in a superb location, on a canal near the centre and the tourist sites but slightly off the beaten track so it was also very quiet. The breakfast was superb in a beautiful dining room. The interiors of the hotel were exceptional. The staff were attentive without being overly familiar. There was a small bar which was lovely. The concierge recommended and booked two fabulous restaurants for us and also organised an excellent city guide

Everything, one of the best hotel experiences we've had. They charged the car for us overnight, breakfast was fantastic, staff recommended and booked lovely restaurants, room was a delight, bar was great. Hard to fault.

Everything was amazing. There was nothing big too like.

This hotel is stunning. It is very exclusive with access only available to the residents where there are 17 rooms only. It is like walking into an art gallery, with beautiful furnishings, artwork and sculptures. We had a room with a canal view which was fantastic. The attention to detail was amazing. The area was also super quiet at night and only a very short walk to the centre of the city. The staff were amazing and so thoughtful and attentive. We were treated so well from before we checked in till checkout and our taxi to the station and home.

This hotel also met my expectation as I am so found of remarkable historical places. This boutique hotel is made of stunning art that takes you to that period and makes you want to come again to live this elite experience again.

The property is simply heaven, you feel at home rather than the formal feeling of being in a hotel. It’s very Cousy and charming, such a romantic place for couples. What added to the beauty of the place is the breakfast, the dinning area has the most beautiful view on the canal and the chief is one of a kind.
