Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A receptionist didn't treat us with respect, the bare minimum due to foreign customers who travelled hundreds of kilometers to stay at your place.

Breakfast is HORRIBLE. Very few choices and very poor quality!!!!! The staff on the breakfast doesn’t speak basic English! No coffee available (besides NES). On the last day, they didn’t even have water!!! Elevators are a bit slow. Jacuzzi was dirty! Very few chairs in the pool. Bathroom a bit small The windows were dirty
The location is great! There is available parking. Rooms are cozy and the bed is big. The staff is very polite, but not all speak English. The cleaning ladies were very polite too! The restaurant on the 6th floor has very good food! Pool with good temperature and not very crowded Available iron machine on every floor.

Top location, a little overpriced for this area of Bulgaria, but there are not many choices for accommodation. Breakfast is good, nothing really special, but it has everything you need. There is a parking in front of the hotel. The room was not entirely prepared (the 4th bed) despite our reservation through Booking. The SPA was not working due to maintenance, but there was no notice in advance, or at least we could have been compensated as the price is one and the same with or without it. Probably corresponds to 3 or 4 stars in reality.

This was a very comfortable two night stay at probably the best hotel in Silistra. Facilities in the room and hotel were excellent: staff were friendly and obliging. The hotel is situated in the centre of town and just a couple of minutes walk from the River Danube, and the very beautiful Danube Gardens. Strongly recommended.

I would like to note that this is a very subjective point of view. Although the breakfast was pretty decent, the options there didn't suit my taste. It is more balkanic, of which I'm not a big fan. Also, the tea and the coffee in the room are not for free. Not expensive, but still. Usually those are complementary.
It was all very clean in the room. And it was all warm, you could turn on and off the heating, but it was very nice, because the temperature outside was around 0 degrees Celsius. The reception staff was very nice to us and helpful. The hotel is in the city centre and very close to the Danube. Value for money 10/10

The only thing I did not like was that the toilet plate was not cleaned.
The place is more than good for the price. The location is perfect, the staff is excellent, the rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The breakfast is also terrific!

All was exceeding my expectations. I wish I stay longer. Definitely will come back again.
Great hotel, nice location, offers swimming pool, sauna and steaming room. Small GYM with all if you want to train. The breakfast was great. Very elegant restaurant and cafe. The best value for the price.
