They didn’t want us to use the living room because it was looked by the hotel and using the kitchen of our 3 bedrooms apartment as store of their things 😥. Never expected that from 5 stars hotel.

The facilities in the property were so good, the artificial beach and the infinity pool and the kids section. The employees on the beach were very friendly.

No privacy for garden rooms. I had to get out of bed to ask staff to move away from the space while they grouped inside and were having very loud conversations while cleaning the fountain. I also couldn’t possibly open up the curtains without risking being completely exposed to anyone passing by the room.

The temp controlled pool was cold, the one restaurant was closed due to a function leaving us with very little food options. The mini bar is not stocked

There is no phone directory in the villas. No explanation was given during check-in on how to contact different hotel staff. I experienced the problem with the lights in villa on the middle of the night and there was no way I could contact the hotel staff. I had to go to reception at 2:30 am to get help

The rooms were not set up properly, we arrived, no hot water, apparently the tank is on the ground floor and I wasn’t…. There were no hangers and eventually they brought a series of metal hangers… not in a deluxe room… the windows of which there were 15, all had blinds on them which were not electric…. When you did open them the windows were filthy on the outside…there was no iron in the room when we arrived and the ironing board was too small… Grass around the pool areas doesn’t work, change it for more sand… these things may be small but add up and could easily be resolved with a little thought / care and attention to detail….

1- the room itself was small for a Luxury room and the bed was literally besides the door and I could hear the noise in the corridor while I’m laying down on the bed. 2- the noise and loud music from Shisha cafe till late night (2 a.m.) as we got the nearest room to the cafe.

Overall, the hotel is good, but the room furniture is less than normal, and I did not feel like I was in a five-star hotel, but rather I felt like I was in a furnished apartment. The bathroom also suffer from poor plumbing, and there is also a sewage smell in the bathroom.

The hotel in general is good, with a high level of privacy. There is a private parking space in the same location as the room. The staff are welcoming and helpful. There is a private swimming pool for children and a private swimming pool for adults, and there is a Rumeli beach for children to play in the sand. Room service is good

Unfortunately the housekeeping team got into my room and start cleaning even when my kids were in there.. So you must alert the receptionist to a void such situation

Breakfast buffet not like i was expected , no varieties of fruits, juices cheese and kids meals . I choosed balcony view, it was not separated and no privacy, and its in the yard. not a simple facilities in washrooms like: hairdryer, cotton pads and toothbrush..

Two things - Lighting and water fountain i front of the Villa was down and required a maintenance. - drainage in shower area need to be cleaned

The room above us was occupied by a group of young people who clattered noisily down the marble steps shouting at 0345am and then back up at 0500am, to continue the party! The hotel wasn't very busy and I wondered why we tired middle aged people, who stated that we had come to get some rest, were colocated with young people there to party in the late night shisha bar. Our room had a lot of problems due to poor maintenance. I informed the management of these and they offered to move us. But really at this price point the rooms should be properly maintained. Our room descripion stated 'Hot Tub'. I imagined this to be a hot tub outside, we didn't have one of those, instead there was a jacuzzi bath in the bathroom. In the grounds many of the fountains were not working. The kerbs, paths etc in the gardens havent been maintained and were cracked with peeling paint, designer lights were missing from the seafront glass wall. It needs ongoing investment to keep it maintained. When sitting outside on the sea wall tables the music from the restaurant competes with the music from the pool speakers, they each need turning in opposite directions.

Breakfast was wonderful, lots of healthy fresh options and imaginative food stations. Cello solo at breakfast was very relaxing. Reef Island itself is a lovely place to be. The staff were kind and attentive. Our villa was fundamentally lovely as are the gardens.

The pool is not temperature controlled. The kids zone is a bit messy and needs some supervision. The food quality offered by the restaurant was below expectation. The kitchen had no utensils

The reception WhatsApp me about everything and I could send them telling them about anything I need. They always respond promptly. The place is great for families with kids
