We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomI requested for a double bed and they put two single beds together with a gap in the middle. The toilet ceiling had mold marks. I saw some cockroaches in the loo. The minibar was noisy and smelled bad. I didn't use it and turned it off. Someone would come to clean the room every day but they would only tidy the sheets and the towels and carpet were not replaced during my 6-day stay. Breakfast was charged at R$25 per day, although there were no lactose-free options and I am lactose intolerant. The kitchen staff also didn't offer to fry an egg, since they added milk with lactose into the omelet.
All the staff were very polite. The location is good but I had to inform Uber all the time so they wouldn't cancel the ride.
